"Nobody answer the phone…."

"Have NEVER seen such mess. Customer service for parent central has REALLY gone down I've known this institution for over 30 years as my children have attended. Now that we are trying to get my grandson enrolled it's been a total mess. From religious preference to dietary restriction It's never been this difficult taking more the 4 mo to get everything in order and ITS still not complete!. The base commander really needs to take a look into the system and why customer service has gone down and the process being frustrating. Constant paperwork being sent more than once for someone to say they didn't get to a ten day wait for each paper that has to be submitted to no one answering or returning your calls."

"Customer service is very poor. Walked into the office right before 9AM with two kiddos to enroll them into the system. But was turned around because I didn’t have an appointment. The office & staffs did not seem busy at all. I was told they take appointments 9, 10, 11AM & 1, 2PM each day. How is this place only accommodating 5 families a day? With the number of staffs available? Submitted an ICE complaint & hopefully it will change some things."

"PLEASE CHANGE THE WHOLE STAFF ESPECIALLY THAT LADY JONES KATRINA!!! Applied for my child, received a response 3 months Later with 1B as priority… ok no big deal, maybe there were too many applications. Finally got a call asking us (the parents and the kid) to come in for interview/orientation something like that. The appointment date was 3 weeks ahead. My wife and I have requested a day off at work just for that day because the appointment time was 10 AM. The day before the appointment, I got a call about the appointment being rescheduled. My leave was already approved. Needless to say it was hard to get another day off. Now comes the appointment day. We went to the place and no one was there, I called all their phone numbers like 15 times and finally someone answered. They said “sorry, last minute change, we moved the appointment to a different place”. Great!!! By that time I was already late 30 min. It’s about to get worse! We finally got to the place and guess what! After being told that the manager/supervisor (or whatever her title) was busy, we waited for about 45 minutes and … this is where I almost lost my cool. The lady that told us the Manager was busy, came to collect the paperwork and said we are good to go. W T F! THE “APPOINTMENT” WAS JUST TO GIVE THEM THE PAPERWORK THEY SENT ME TO FILL OUT. I could’ve just sent those by email the same way they sent it to me. They specifically asked me to fill it out and bring it on the appointment date. There was NO POINT of us being there. Thanks to my wife who kept me cool and reminded me we need them for our child. I just walked away to not say or do something I’ll regret later. Ms. Jones is a very inconsiderate and careless person. She doesn’t respond to calls, ignore emails or replies days later when she wants to."

"If your child has a diet restriction due to religious reason do not send him to CYS Meade. They will ask you first to bring a signed memo from the Chaplain and then will tell you it will take 10 business days for it to be approved by their commander. Since when do people need a commander’s approval to practice their faith? Plus after the 10 days nobody contacted me nor my calls were being returned. I was only contacted after I left a comment on their Facebook page explaining how they failed me as a soldier and failed my daughter too. I had to put her in another summer camp two times more expensive but at least she was not discriminated and her religious rights were respected. I wish I will never have to need CYS Meade again ."
