"Owner is nice but not good at running a business. First off she owns two daycares and she is barely at this one and has no clue as to what's going on. The listed hours is 6 am to 12 am but the daycare isn't open from 6 am to 12 am. I was told that I couldn't drop my child off until 7:30 am. There were times when my child was dropped off they couldn't get in the daycare because they didn't have a key. I also, had a staff member tell me to come late because she isn't coming early the next day. Not only was drop off an issue but so was pick-up. I was even asked if I could come earlier to pick up my child. I work which is why I was in need of day care services. Staff did not interact with me. A lot of times my baby was handed to me through the door without any communication of what the baby did that day just a good bye. Important dates or other pertinent information was not communicated by staff. There are no mass emails or text messages. There are notes placed on the inner daycare door. This isn't sufficient or effective communication. A note is one way but the information should also be communicated. The daycare takes two days off for every holiday ( and I do mean every) and when the owner feels like being closed she ups and closes the daycare with sometimes days notice. The owner does not provide a list of closures in advance and when asked for a calendar the owner couldn't provide one. I understand emergencies and taking federal holidays but the closures were excessive. Lastly, she implemented a rule that parents weren't allowed to be in the daycare due to COVID. But doesn't enforce her staff to wear mask. When asked about staff wearing mask, I was told all staff were vaccinated. Vaccinated doesn't mean they can 't get or pass COVID on to someone else."
