Reviews of Center For Creative Children
"Update December 2023: My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this daycare facility and its staff! Because of our experience, we are keeping our daughter here permanently, before it was a temporary option. But we realized our daughter benefits from the social interactions of the babies and staff, rather than just being with family. The teachers and director are very communicative about her progress, they help me understand developmental milestones to keep her on track, and are genuinely concerned about my daughter’s well being! They called us to make sure she was okay when we didn’t send her for two weeks due to a family trip. October 2023: My husband and I had moved to MD due to work and were in desperate need to find a daycare with an opening for our infant daughter (8mons at enrollment). We only needed temporary care as we plan on having a grandparent move in to care for Evelyn full time. I found this place and was worried seeing so many mixed reviews, but decided that for 3-4 months it would do just fine. My husband went to go check it out in person and did not find any signs of filth or dirtiness that had been described in previous comments. The center has always been clean every time I arrive to drop off our daughter. I can only speak to the infant room and the teachers I have had personal contact with, such as Ms. Ferdos and Ms. Diane, who have both been SO wonderful and kind. Our daughter has been home with me until this point and they kept explaining how well she was doing for the first week of daycare and adjusting. I got pictures texted to me during her first day and I know she’s in good hands. I have seen the toys always clean and dried by the sink in the morning (around 7am) when I drop off my daughter. My husband does pick up and has not mentioned anything about unsanitary conditions. We are very happy with our decision to send our daughter here and I’m so happy that other places were filled and had such long waiting lists or else I would not have had the opportunity to give CCC a chance. I plan on updating this review as time goes on, but so far I recommend this place! I love it and the teachers I’ve met so far!"
"Save your time, money, and energy. This place is a mess… literally and figuratively! The carpets look like they have ya been vacuumed, shampooed, or cleaned in any way in over 10 years. The staff is lazy and inattentive, as they sit on their cell phones in a room full of children under two. The communication—or lack thereof—is abysmal. The center became aware of a case of Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease on a Friday. They did not share this information with parents until Sunday evening at 10:30pm, via an email. Now, I guess they’re being super vigilant and they sent my kid home because he had a runny nose… let that sink in for a minute. Ohhh, and my child has only been there for a little over a month. Needless to say, but he will NOT be going back! I’d give zero stars if possible."
"Center for Creative Children has been a blessing for my family. My son went there from 3 months to 17 months and he was treated wonderfully. Ms. Diane was always so supportive and ready to answer my questions any time I needed. Ms. Behnaz and Ms Meg saw him crawl and begin to walk. They loved him and truly encouraged him every step of the way. Ms. Meaa was there to welcome him every morning with a beautiful smile and so much positive energy. Ms Sherri always told me the positive things my boy was up to during the day. And Ms. Monir. I can't even begin to thank her. She was there with my son from his first day there to his last. She has been such a positive influence and taught him and me so much. All the teachers have been very caring and very flexible. The center is small, but that's a good thing. It creates a family feel. My son made his first friends there and the center encouraged that friendship. He was always picked up with a clean diaper. I was always told if he had the sniffles or a cough and even if his potty was not the best. They really care about the kids. The center is always kept clean and the teachers and Director kept up with the maintenance all the time. I can't recommend this center enough. I will miss everyone there. This was by far the hardest part of moving away."
"We love the Center For Creative Children! I never write reviews, but I realize there are so many parents, like us, that do not have any other option than to send your child to daycare - which can be a scary and daunting task considering you want to pick the right one! Our daughter started here when she was 12 weeks and we have nothing but great things to say about this center and her care! The director and all of the staff we have encountered have been fabulous. Special shoutout to Ms. Andrea and Ms. Behnaz! I feel confident leaving my child for the day in their care and my daughter lights up when she sees them. When I pick her up at the end of the day, she looks well cared for and happy. They keep a chart on all activity (naps, feeding, diaper changes) so you know what happened and when. The rooms and facility are very clean and all of the classrooms and hallways just look fun and kid friendly. Sending our daughter to daycare here has been the best decision!"
"As a kid I hated going to school, but our little ones wake up & can't wait to go to CCC. While management has been lacking in the past they're on a great upward trajectory with new management, the teachers are wonderful and they really care for the kids which is the important thing at the end of the day. Yes, the facility is older, but newer ones we've toured just feel sterile. Finally, I'd prefer to spend more time with my kids and be minutes from them at work just in case anything ever happens."
