"As a first time parent I was nervous letting anyone other than myself look after my child. We found PLA through a referral and are so thankful we were able to get a spot in the infant class. Sonja the director is passionate about childhood development and we find our kid learning so much. He says new words and is learning to be social with other kids (he’s still under a year) which was important to us. I love that unlike a lot of other centers, there is a focus on the kids getting outside, as long as the weather isn’t too hot or cold. I think that outside play in a safe environment is really important. It’s nice that one day a week the kids learn Spanish so there is so language immersion piece and structured topics that change every month and are clearly communicated to the parents in a newsletter. We found that the cost is comparable to or less than other facilities and love that I both feel safe with my child there and find that it’s not financially out of reach. Highly recommend if spots available!"
