"I never shopped here, but I brought back an item that was gifted to me few days ago unworn, but my mistake was I took the tag off, i just didn't know the return policy. I just wanted a smaller size. The cashier was fine, but I wanted to speak to the mgr because I brought the tags and the unworn item. The mgr name was " Karina, I think and she was already trying to get rid of me before I could explain and greeted me rudely with " what's the problem here?" Then I explained, but all she said was " what do you want me to do about it and questioned and scolded me, " would you wear something if the tag was taken off?" I said I can as long as it still new, with reattached tags, I would be ok with that as a customer. I understood the policy , but Karina was so unprofessional and I just felt embarrassed with customers behind me hearing our conversations at the counter. Felt like she was yelling at me as well and my 9 yrs old daughter witnessed the whole thing. I didn't want to explain any longer while my daughter was seeing me trying to explain myself , but that mgr flat out did not care. I was unable to even exchange the item. She had a malicious look towards me and it was just toxic, my daughter and I just left. I just felt defeated. That manager had no manners and just UTTERLY RUDE . The WORST customer service mgr I have ever encountered in my life and just appalled how I was approached as a customer. I didnt expect any special treatment, but oh goodness, she was just AWFUL. If she was going through something personal in life , so sorry for that, but I didn't deserve such treatment. I rarely leave reviews, but just felt belittled the whole entire time I was there. As we were leaving, a lady on the floor approached me and asked, " is there anything I can help you with?" I just told her what the mgr told me and she showed nothing, but disinterested as well after that. It was pretty traumatic, I'm not sure if I want to step inside that store EVER again. I explained to my daughter, it's such a cruel world out there, be polite BUT walk away from it and never ever let people like that ruin your day!"
"Worst store ever. Went back to return and they told me we can return the watch in any other michael Kors store. So I went to Tyson’s to return and they told me I can return only in outlet store. The employers are very rude and they don’t even know the rules and policies properly."
"I bought purse today ,the sales lady helped me she was very nice but she didn’t mention it was final sale . When i went to check out the sales Associate didn’t even mention it was final sale . At the counter he said $10 extra than what other lady told me . Any how as soon as i paid and transaction got completed ,i changed my mind . I didn’t step out of the store . I wanted another bag . Then the associate told me it was final sale and then manger came she was so rude the other sales person wanted me to help But manger didn’t help me . The other 2 sales associate were so ashamed too the way manager handle the situation. . She said to me I told you I can’t do anything u better leave the store or I will call security . I love MK store . I told her look at my profile in ur system how much sale I give u . She was really crazy lady . I request MK higher authorities please hire some highly qualified people for ur store . I don’t know how she has become a manger . I requested is there anyone else I can talk to . But she was the only one .she has no work ethics .it is loss for MK stores ."
"Worst store ever. Bought a brand new bag as a gift for someone ended up returning a few days later in the same bag - mind you NEVER worn. They told me the bag had dirt and crumbs on it (I’ve attached photos for the staff to view if they please) who knows maybe I’m blind. Would not allow a return despite just purchasing and being brand new. Workers were so unhelpful and rude. Don’t shop here if you’re a human who has to make returns if your kids don’t end up liking something."
"The manager Karina is not helpful at all and instead lied directly to another store manager along with us as customers while we were seeking help. Avoid this location. She at first told us you have to go to original locations for returns/exchanges, which isn't true as evident on the receipt which I attached pictures of. After talking with the original Williamsburg location who said the Leesburg location should help us, that manager asked to speak to Karina at the Leesburg location. Initially, Karina refused to talk to them until the Williamsburg location said they would call the store. After having the manager from the Williamsburg location talk to Karina about it, Karina told us we tried to give two different stories of our situation. At this point we left. We then spoke to the Williamsburg location who informed us that Karina yet again lied and tried telling the Williamsburg location we were trying to return a watch with a cracked watch face. As you can see in our pictures, that was yet another lie from Karina. Plain and simple, we tried to buy a new watch without damage and instead were sold a damaged watch and now no one wants fix this. The full story from our experience is below: We purchased a watch on December 14th as a Christmas gift at the Williamsburg location. We handed the watch to the customer service agent at the register, and that person said they would grab a new watch from behind the counter since the watch in the case was one that people try on. They grabbed a watch from behind the counter, put it in a box, and handed it over. Thinking this was a nice new watch we left and wrapped it up for Christmas. Christmas day arrives, the watch gets opened, and come to find out the finish on the watch face has chips. Obviously a disappointment as the watch we thought we were purchasing didn't have any defects, so the one that was sold to us from behind the counter wasn't what we thought we were purchasing. We live three hours away so we tried to take care of this at the Leesburg location since the receipt states you can visit any Michael Kors Outlet location. The Leesburg store was no help and the manager actually lied about several things. We talked with the Williamsburg location who sold us a watch we didn't know was damaged, and they were ultimately no help. They don't have another one now to exchange, but they also aren't standing behind their product that they sold to us and saying they won't return it since it's damaged. Instead, we were directed to the warranty dept who wants to charge us to repair a watch that they sold to us damaged, that we unknowingly purchased damaged thinking we were getting a new one from behind the counter. So, now we paid $125 for a watch we thought was brand new and undamaged but are now stuck with a damaged watch and being asked by the warranty department to pay to repair damage that wasn't caused by us. This is a poor way to operate a business and resulted in a disappointment on Christmas Day. The watch was never taken out of the box by us when we received it from the store associate who put it in the box and was obviously never worn by us either. I have uploaded pictures showing the condition of what we recieved after handing them an undamaged watch thinking that's what we were purchasing. Since we live in ashburn which is 3hrs away from the Williamsburg location we purchased from we attempted to resolve this at the nearest location in Leesburg."
