"We have been with Child Care #1 since November 2021 and we love it so much. I am a first time mom, so dropping my son off at daycare was really hard for me. After dropping my son off for the first few days, Valerie would text me and let me know how he was doing within the first hour and would send a picture along with the text. I appreciated this so much. My son quickly warmed up to Elena and would greet her with smiles and would reach for her when he saw her. The kids get to color and draw often. My 1.5 year old son can eat cereal with milk and a spoon all on his own! That is something he was taught in daycare. My husband and I do not speak Russian, so my son mainly hears Russian while in daycare and he already understands what Elena says to him and has started saying words in English and in Russian. The food is wonderful and I can tell that the daycare is a warm environment for my son to learn and grow. We are so lucky to have found this child care."

"We, as the parents, try to do our best for our kids, and ensure that we meet all their needs. That is why when it comes to childcare, we do our research seeking a good childcare place and want to find good people who will take care of our kids as if they are their own. I found Childcare #1 and it was like finding a diamond in the rough. My son, Emaani, was 2.5 years old back then (he is almost 3 now) and has never been to any childcare facility since his birth. Imagine my worries and frustration with that! Due to his speech concerns and social development, I decided to research on childcare facilities with the highest ratings. I found few childcare facilities with the ratings ranging from 5 stars to 4.5. Surprisingly, after writing to three of them, I got a response only from one – Childcare #1 (5-stars facility!). I was able to schedule a tour in a couple of days, met with Irina and Valeriya, and I knew that it was exactly what I was looking for. My first impression was good, and I loved their curriculum, activities, and facility, which was equipped with many educational materials and learning/entertaining toys. My impression has not failed me a bit. I liked many things about this facility: learning activities (classes), music classes, puppet shows, outdoor activities, gymnastics, soccer trial, healthy eating, clean environment (always must have indoors and outdoors shoes), naptime (kids are wearing pajamas for the naptime), celebration of the holidays, photo sessions etc. Also, I do not want to forget to mention that this is bilingual childcare facility, and since my family spoke Russian, it was a big plus to have Emaani there to maintain the language and learn more than just basic words. From the day one, my son easily adapted to his new environment and even participated in some activities. Of course, as any child who spent majority of the time with me since his birth, he cried for couple days when I was leaving him, but it was literally couple days. I was amazed how quickly my son fell in love with Valeriya and Andrei (they have a magic touch!), made friends (the child who has never been exposed to other kids!) and was learning new words, phrases and even songs (the child who could barely talk). Valeriya and Andrei are always taking a great care of their kids. They are very open, kind, gentle, caring, and knowledgeable couple, who set the highest standard for their childcare, that is why it was so hard for us to find a similar childcare in our area (we relocated to NC due to a job opportunity). Personally, it has been number 1 for us for 2 reasons: number 1 as our 1st childcare and #1 as the best one we have had! I am sure I am missing a lot more to say, but I think it is better to give it a try and experience it to fully understand what I wrote in this review. I really hope that this review will help to inform those parents who are seeking for the best, loving, and caring childcare facility that Childcare # 1 speaks for itself – definitely number one! And if I could have given more stars, I would have doubled them if not tripled! Valeriya and Andrei, thank you for giving Emaani a gift of joy, smiles and happiness! We will miss you! Always #1!
