"Can’t say enough about Ballet SunMi! My 9 year old daughter and I both take classes at this studio. I hadn’t been to a ballet class for well over a decade and was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to keep up but my fears were put aside the moment I walked into that first class. Sun-Mi is warm and encouraging and her teaching style is clear, calm, thoughtful and fun! The community at Ballet SunMi is an added bonus to the already exceptional classes. Everyone is friendly and supportive and it is an extremely positive environment. My daughter’s confidence and skills have improved since starting with Sun-Mi and she looks forward to class every week. In addition to learning excellent ballet technique and strengthening her body she has made new friends and often wants to stay after class to spend time with them! I’m so happy this studio exists! It is so much fun to watch her develop into a beautiful dancer! She really enjoys the community at the studio and has formed so many new friendships. "Very light and fun community, teacher is very communicative, classes are easy to sign up for and reasonably-priced compared to what I have shopped in Philly and surrounding. We are very happy with Ballet Sun-Mi after several months of group classes for my daughter (class is 5-7 yr olds, boys and girls). I was looking for someone with a strong dance background, professionalism, and a fun and healthy dance/body philosophy. We are lucky we found Ballet Sun-Mi! My daughter has loved every class. I am so impressed with how Sun-Mi focused and engages the kids — they learn and practice foundational skills, refine technique, and get stronger and stronger all while using their imaginations, playing games, and laughing with friends. "Great ballet studio with adult and kids ballet classes. SunMi takes her adult students seriously, and she creates a fun, encouraging, learning environment for her adult students. Her classes are small enough that she pays good attention to you to help you improve. I've noticed my improvement since I started with SunMi, and she continues to inspire me to be a better dancer that I did not think I could be! My daughter also takes Sun-Mi's classes and she always looks forward to her class with SunMi. It is amazing to see that my daughter is making steady progress in her ballet technique while having so much fun in class. This is definitely a ballet studio that I would recommend to everyone, at any age!"
