"I went to have six watch batteries replaced. Though I was surprised at the prices quoted, ($10, $10, and $8), I realized that’s inflation. I prioritized and chose to leave the three I wear most. When I returned I was told my fee was $35.00. The woman who originally quoted me the prices spoke up and said the charge should be $28.00. Apparently screws had to be removed to replace the battery in the least expensive watch, which I bought for under $30.00. So the $8.00 battery cost me $15.00. When I said, “I will not be returning”, they didn’t seem to care. I can’t believe they are willing to loose a customer due to their mistake. I will NEVER go back to Gold Castle Jeweler."

"Well I went there to get a tiny small repair. They told me that it would take them a whole week to have it done. Thats the most ridiculous time I have ever heard. I would never recommend them for any repairs now or in the near future. UPDATE...... So I went to another jewelry store in Rockville pike, the guy was busy as hell but he looked at my pendant and he only took 7 minutes tops to fix my jewelry.. Props to them."

"The salespeople here are very pleasant and helpful. The store sells beautiful costume jewelry, estate jewelry, and fine jewelry. The estate jewelry is especially well worth browsing. The store also sells knickknacks and some lovely clothing items. They do an excellent job of watch repair, resizing rings, and jewelry repair. This store is well worth visiting!"

"I love this store! Sometimes you just need a great gift shop, and while Hallmark remains the gold-standard, variety is the spice of life. You'll find gifties of all sorts here in a slightly limited but ever changing supply. Half of the store is an actual jewelry store. The gift half always has interesting new things, fun gifts, inspiring do-dad's, fun magnets, nightlights, scarves, etc. It's definitely worth a monthly visit, and I always get something when I visit."
