"Its cheaper (free likely) and quicker to do your own taxes online. They now make you pay $5 for prior year tax returns now. Shame it’s so hard to click “send email” this year, because it was free the past years."

"Stopped to do my taxes, signed in and waited in my car for an hr, got called back in, and was told to fill out a paper which could have been told to be an hr before. Got skipped in line went back in, and had to signed back in, and was told it would be over an hr wait again. Needless to say they lost my business."

"Very impressed with Tax 29. Did my own prep for many years - then went to H&R Block for at least 4 years. They charged over $300 for the service. Past few years did my own again with Tax cut but that was costly also including extra for state and then e-filing fee. So easy when discovered Tax 29. Will never use anyone else now."

"So great Andy always does my taxes but I'm disorganized and he's booked forever. He's that good. James took care of me and not only did a great job but I'll be 65 soon and he took the time to discuss my Medicare.He even brought in his Boss (Dean?) to answer questions. Felt very accomplished. "I wouldn't recommend this place for getting your taxes prepared. I did my 2019 taxes with one of their accountants and had to file by mail. Before my refund arrived, I received a letter from the IRS saying that they fixed mistakes on my return and as a result my refund was decreased by 50%. I contacted them and asked them to check and see whether the mistake was in their calculations or from the IRS. They just told me to contact the IRS and said they will look into it and I never heard back from them. Now mistakes happen with all professionals. But when I have paid you to do something for me, I expect you to be competent and get it right. If you make a mistake - which is okay- it's your responsibility to fix it. So essentially I lost over a thousand dollars because an accountant couldn't get my 1040 right and they told me to deal with the IRS on my own. Update because of business owner response: I simply asked you guys to recheck your calculations and emailed the owner the IRS letter plus the original tax return. I didn't ask you to contact the IRS on my behalf. I did email you like you told me and never heard back. Don't bother. This review is just meant to provide information based on my experience with you"
