"Be cautious about this company's pricing. We had a good experience recently with one of their heating techs, who fixed our water heater. We had gotten a second quote on that job from another company, and Magnolia's pricing was in line. A short time later, however, we called Magnolia again for help with another, smaller job: clearing a clogged drain in a bathroom sink. Their estimate for that simple job was very high: $517. I told them the job should cost no more than $200. I called another company, Fry Plumbing, and sure enough, their charge for clearing the drain was far less than Magnolia's: $165, which was in line with what we had paid plumbers in the past for this sort of job. When I called Magnolia to point out how out of line their pricing was, they told me they charge more to ensure the best quality service. Fry Plumbing's service, however, was top-notch: friendly and efficient."

"I called for service for my heat pump and spoke with an engaged, personable rep who did some troubleshooting with me before offering a range of dates for a service call. I opted for a same-day call with a 3-hour window. Magnolia later called me during the window with an update on their tech’s ETA, which I appreciated. The tech, Fred M., later called me with a further update and some additional questions about my issues. When he arrived, Fred was very knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous, and he took the time to explain what he was encountering and doing as he worked. My issues were successfully addressed and I was very happy with Magnolia’s customer service and expertise."

She’s good-natured and easy to talk to, but perhaps most importantly, she’s excellent at following up on questions I had about the repair.
