Reviews of Maritime Plumbing LLC
"John is a professional and has great skills. He is an awesome professional. I called at 0930 and he was at my house by 12: 00 hrs, he was awesome and knowledgeable and had the parts on his vehicle. He fixed my problem with no problems and was extremely professional. I will definitely use him again for my plumbing needs. Exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough about this company. I will definitely use this company again and recommend him as well"
"This company was assigned to me by my American Home shield warranty for a service call regarding my toilet. They were quick to call and schedule an appointment and were fast, knowledgeable and professional when they came to my house. 5 stars!"
"Never again will I use this company. I had a sump pump issue. Crawl space was full of water. I went under the house and pumped the majority of it out prior to “John” showing up. After he installed the new sump pump he gave my wife a bunch of attitude because he got wet under the house. Within a week the brand new sump pump was not working yet again. Called them back to have John come back out. A week went by with no call back before I finally got ahold of them. John called me on a Thursday for a Monday appt and asked me to pump out the crawl space the day before he came. On Sunday night I went under and pumped out the crawl space, only to have John lie and say he came out Friday and didn’t change the sump pump because the crawl space wasn’t pumped out. John and the entire company are a joke. Do Not Use."
"I have used this company twice for home warranty issues. The first time was at my husband's previous home when a hot water heater went up. Having dealt with sears (referred by AHS) in the past and having a poor experience, it was refreshing to have such prompt and polite customer service. A year and a half later, after moving, we discovered a leaky pipe in the crawl space. Again, I called AHS and they referred Maritime Plumbing. Someone called me that same day (after leaving a message) and a plumber came and fixed the pipe and my wobbly toilet in under 30 minutes. He arrived on time, was polite and thorough. I am contacting them again for my business needs. Thank you Maritime Plumbing."
"ABSOLUTELY APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Recently placed a service call to the company for a leaking pipe. Was called within two days to schedule an appointment by a very nice woman, who shall remained unnamed. My appointment was scheduled for Monday at noon. My grandmother who lives right around the corner volunteered to let the plumber in. She stopped over around 11 30 and called me to inform me that it appeared that the plumber had come and gone. The plumber left his business card. I called to the main office only to receive voicemail. I finally got ahold of John, the gentleman who would be servicing my house. Without even getting out five words, I heard this from John: "Bro, I have come and gone already. Some job's get done quicker than others. I definitely can't get back out today, or even tomorrow. But i might get back out there on Wednesday." I was a tad befuddled and concerned because my appointment was scheduled for noon. Not 11 15, not 11 30...NOON. John also informed me that I was given a two hour window, which I understand most companies do. However, I was given no such window. Having been apart of these situations in the past with cable companies and electricians, I would have made certain that someone would have been at my residence to allow the plumber entry to my house. Already frustrated, I calmly replied; "Wow...that's pretty poor customer service...my 83 year old grandmother was there before we were asked to be and....." And without being able to finish my sentence, John (an employee of this company) ERUPTED into a rant I've never been on the other side of as a customer in my entire life. "No!! let me tell you what's bad service!!! Bad service is letting someone stand outside your damn door, beating on it while nobody is home!!!!". All I could think to say after picking my jaw up off the floor was, "excuse me?" John hung up immediately. At this time, I'm still seeking management for not only an apology but hopefully an explanation as of to why I was basically screamed at by one of their employees. Not only was John's behavior frightful, it was disgusting. Do yourself a favor, protect yourself from the verbal abuse I experienced by this gentleman, who I'm certain this company wouldn't want as an ambassador to their organization after they hear this story. I certainly will not use this company for any of my future plumbing needs and will discourage ANYONE who seeks their services, from employing them. In my case, I was referred to this organization by my home warranty provider. I will also be contacting them and informing them of my experience and encourage them to terminate their relationship with this organization. I certainly hope nobody is the victim of such an aggressive individual, employed by a company who I'm sure wishes to protect their reputation. Though, given how easy it was for John to address a customer in such an aggressive and disdainful manner, something tells me this may not have been the first time John has spoken to a customer like this."
