"I prefer companies who demonstrate integrity and a level of professionalism. My warranty company assigned KG Winston and Son for my water heater service. The scheduler returned my call to schedule someone to come out after 12noon. The technician then called to say that he is on the way. I confirmed that I will be home at 4:45pm. He agreed that he will arrive at that time. He then called back to say that he is running personal errands and he will be here shortly. Please keep in mind that my water heater has flooded my basement and he decided to run personal errands. It's after 7pm and I am still waiting for the technician to get here. Customer service is not important to this company. Obviously, American Home Shield doesn't not care as to who they contract with at all. This is beyond unprofessional. I would like to give them a "0". This is ridiculous."
"They showed up and got everything fixed in right at an hour. The worker was pleasant and explained what was broken and how he was going to fix it. I was satisfied with the work that was done"
"This company is the worst. If you have American Home Shield and they assign this company, call and ask for them to assign another company. I was assigned this company for service on my water heater, I called the number and a female answered the phone and scheduled me for the same day service between 4 and 5 pm. I called around 3 pm to confirm and a female answered the phone and proceeded to tell me they were booked and did not know how I could have been booked for service today (sounded like the same female who I talked with earlier). I informed the female that I called at 11am and was booked for service between 4 and 5pm. She stated she was at the store and would call me back…she never called me back. I called the number again at 4pm and no one answered the phone. I called American Home Shield and asked them to assign another company, due to the incompetence of this company. If I could assign zero stars I would, however, it was not an option. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE UNORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL."
"The day of service itself (clearing and inspecting the main sewer line) went well. That's almost a month ago and I've never received the report they promised. A report showing where the line is ruptured. I need that so I can quickly engage the contractor that did the job 2 years ago, that apparently have caused the new rupture. Call them a couple of days after the day of service bc of not seeing in my inbox. Then more, always leaving voicemails. I called them at least 2 times / week for 3 weeks... No response! Guess what happened after 3.5 weeks?- the sewer line overflows again. So I reopen the case with AHS, they said they'll dispatch the same contractor. WG WINSTON says "yes, we will send you the report EOD and yes we'll come over to clear it again". Except, they call me 2 minutes later to say that AHS won't cover the job, bc root damage is not covered by their warranty. Okay, but why wasting 3.5 weeks just to send a report? I could have had some other company do the job in the meantime - IF THEY KNOW WHAT AND WHERE TO DO IT. So they're really not serious, don't care about the job is done or any simple but necessary follow up. Giving them 2 stars bc the day of service was fine."
"Do not waste your money with this so call business unless you're in the business of getting ripped off. They do not honor their work which says alot about one's character. The picture shows my outside drain one day after Kevin the owner supposedly have fixed it. I phoned and text him several times only to get the run around. A month goes by and a lost of a $185.00 initial pay to him, needless to say he never came back."
