Reviews of A A Appliances Repair Services Inc
"I called A&A to try to repair an ice-maker. $1,000 and 5 months later still no ice. Seems like a pretty basic fix for an appliance repair company to be able to pull off. Try to call now and they don't answer their phone. Find someone else to give your money to."
"THE WORST! Company scheduled not 1, not 2, but three appointments and failed to show up on time IF at all to either one. A simple question about the type of washer I had would have prompted them to send two people but somehow this is my responsibility although the technician left saying that he made a note and will return with the part and assistance. He never showed so I received a call saying they would send someone in his place... he never showed but called stating that he would return the following day.. no one called they don't have a record.... THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY EVER.. save yourself and find someone else!"
"Terrible experience. Technician came out to diagnose a very evident washing machine problem under Lowe's Warranty claim. After two hours of running loads, stated there was nothing wrong with it. (sigh) Any chimpanzee could have diagnosed this, and I was shocked to hear him say nothing was wrong. I called back to talk with a supervisor and have them come back out to diagnose and fix it, and he told me he would not come back out. His technician did not see anything wrong and that was that. Supervisor was very unprofessional on the phone, very rude, very condescending."
"Appliance Repair Contractor Complaint - Furnace repair fiasco. During inspection, furnace induction motor found to be over current, needed replacement. Home Warranty provider, Sensible Home Warranty, sent AA Appliance Repair to service the claim. AA technician visited and confirmed the need for the repair. Sensible Home Warranty failed to request maintenance receipt copies until three weeks later when I called to check status of claim. After receipts emailed to SHW, AA scheduled appointment for repair the next day, 20 Dec 11, between 9:00 AM and noon. At 9:30 AM a garbled message was left at my home during which the only words able to be understood were "appliance repair". I called the number back and left a message but the technician didn't return the call. At 10:00 AM called the AA office, no answer, automated phone system answered and said "Thank you for calling, good bye." Called AA office again at 11:00 AM, spoke with office person. Was told parts usually were delivered in AM, but my motor wouldn't be delivered until 2:00 PM. the office person was very apologetic. Rescheduled for 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM on 21 Dec 11. On 21 Dec 11, called AA office at 9:00 AM. Was told their technician was "getting the part" and would "call me when he has it." At 11:00 AM, called AA office again. Office person put me on hold to contact their technician. While on hold, AA technician called and told me the part had not even been ordered yet. Switched back to on hold call, and automated phone system said "Thank you for calling, good bye." Called SHW and the claim will be reassigned to a different company that has the motor already. So far, a horrible experience that has not been resolved yet. This experience has soured my opinion of appliance repair companies and their trustworthiness. So far, I've taken off 9 hours from work and accomplished nothing except getting frustrated."
"We had our fridge go out... we called on a Sunday... They came on Monday... (1-4pm) They arrived at 2pm... They were able to diagnose the problem... I had to pay the $49 house call fee... they left and returned around 6pm with the part (electrical relay). The problem was fixed and my ice cream was saved. A special shout out to Paul the tech... he explained the cause of the problem (I was messing with the circuit breakers and by flipping the breakers on and off can cause the relay to go bad). He was very polite... Thanks a bunch... I'll definitely go back to them if I have any other appliance issues. Thanks!!!!"
