"I would not recommend Mr. Appliance. We have a washing machine leaking. Repairman comes out and assessed we needed a new boot (~$400 including labor). 2nd trip different day he installs the boot. The leak continues. 3rd trip different day, new guy comes and goes into a lengthy explanation about how a different part may be required while questioning the credibility of the first guy. We were not willing to dump more money and take ANOTHER day off work to prolong this agony. The company offered a partial refund for this debacle."
"When I thought, I was going to have to buy a new stove because no one could fix the brand I have. One company recommended by the manufacture, came out and said they needed to order lots of parts, and they would call me when they came in…… never heard from them again. So, while researching for a new brand I wanted to make sure I could get someone to work on it. I called Mr. Appliance of Annapolis and shared my story with the scheduler, thus the reason I wanted to make sure they would be able to fix the new brand I was looking at. She promptly replied we have a technician that works on the American Brand. Needless to say, I scheduled the appointment. Mr. Appliance not only could they fix it they did a superb Job and were punctual and cleaned up everything. I recommend Bob 100% he did a fantastic job and I have a working oven. Mary from Odenton"
"Here's a list of things that went wrong with my experience. First off, they couldn't come and see my appliance for a week after we called. I understand these things can happen, but it left us without use of our oven for all that time. Then the technician arrived. They made all sorts of weird jokes, and started looking at all my family photos and making comments. I felt uncomfortable most of the time. Next, he gives me a quote that was unbelievably high. I decided to agree to it anyway, since I knew I'd get dinged for having them come out in the first place. But I felt even less confident when I was asked to pay right then and there, before the repair was ever done. I've never experienced that ever. I've always paid after the work was complete. In any case, they couldn't come back out for the repair for another week. So now I'm at two weeks with no oven. That's when I got a call the day before the final appointment, telling me it was canceled, and that it would be ANOTHER week before it could be done. So at that point I'd be without an oven for nearly an entire month. Nothing about this experience was like any other repair company I've ever dealt with. All other experiences with other companies were faster, with nicer technicians, and at prices that I felt were reasonable. I finally called to complain, and to say I no longer wanted the repair done. They refunded me some of the cost, but NOT the fee for having the technician come out. And from what I've read from other reviews, they don't tend to budge on that, which is a great way to convince me never to use them again. And so I won't. And I'll warn you not to either."
