He also criticized me for changing my own brakes, which possibly lead to my wheel hub breaking, and said that I bought a lemon for car. He also compared me to his son and said I don't listen (Because I'd rather change my own brakes then pay $250). Yeah, not the most professional, prices kinda high, but work is good and he is a very honest mechanic."

"I brought my car to Joe's are calling a few dealerships and calling a few other mechanics, I figured he was down the street from where I live and he was very prompt when answering the phone. I told him exactly what I needed done and he quoted me over the phone so I figured I would give him a chance. I brought my car to him and he promptly started working on my car, well half way though the work he informed me that I needed more work than I originally thought I needed. He explained to me why I needed the secondary work, went over what options I had and once we figured out the best way to do this he immediately got on the phone and started calling his parts people to get me the additional part I needed. While he was calling his parts people he was telling what the prices were and he quoted me what the secondary work would be. Once we decided on the best option I decided to leave my car with Joe, he promised me that I would have my car back by the end of the day so I went about my day. Sure enough when I stopped by the shop he had my car on the lift and was putting on the finishing touches for the car. He has the old parts on the floor to show me the new parts installed and he explained to me again what he did and where the secondary part was and how it worked. I though for sure he was going tell me a different price from what he originally quoted me earlier in the day (as a few Nissan dealerships have done in the past) - nope - he kept his work, had the work done on time, and even told me what I can do at home if this problem happened again. Unbelievable - He was HONEST, On time, Explained to me what he was going to do and did it. He is my new mechanic."
