"When I dropped a cuckoo clock off for repair, I was given a cost estimate that I thought was very reasonable and a time estimate of 4 months. After 4 months, I called to check on the status; and I was told that more time was needed. After 6 months, I checked again; and I was told that it should be done soon. After 7 months, I was again told that it should be done soon. After nearly 9 months, I decided to retrieve the clock and have it repaired elsewhere. When I arrived to pick it up, it took the shop owner and an assistant about 35 minutes of searching the shop before they finally found the clock."

"People with allergies or asthma BEWARE! Do not take your clocks to be repaired if they are made of wood or a porous material, this business owner smokes heavily in his shop and your clock will NEVER be the same. And we are so glad we ended up going elsewhere, we found a much better price."

"Ye Olde Clock Shoppe ... Jeff really has a great deal of knowledge about clocks. We took a 150 year old Waterbury clock in for repairs. He repaired, replaced parts and oiled. It runs like new. When we took the clock in Jeff looked at it and left me know within minutes the age of the clock. He also told how to take care of the wood finish of the case to keep it in great condition. He also came to our home and cleaned, adjusted and oiled our Hamilton Georgetown that we had purchased in 1989. The chimes and striker are more clear and runs really great. Would definitely recommend this shop for repairs."
