"Just stay away from these folks. I had my condo inspected before buying and the inspector found an issue with the water splitting between the tub spout and showerhead. United Service Specialists sent a plumber who replaced the faucet. I didn't use the shower until after the replacement, at which point I noticed water was spraying out from the new faucet into my bathroom. There was enough water to warp the bottom of my bathroom vanity. I sent photos and they came out the next day and found the faucet they installed was defective so replaced it for no charge. I got an estimate for replacing the damaged vanity but, rather than paying for the damage, they insisted on fixing it. The plumber came back a few weeks later and simply glued a piece of wood over the damage and began insisting the damage wasn't because of the broken faucet, but couldn't identify another potential source of a leak. Since the refused to pay for the damage, I filed a complaint with the DC AG's office but they were unresponsive to the mediator assigned to the complaint."

"Great customer service and also very kind which is important, because people get stressed when there is water in the house where there should be no water, very responsive and knowledgeable, and setting up and confirming the appointment was perfect. Things just flow in a very organized way. The technician Marvin is like a scientist as far as expertise goes, it is clear he knows his stuff but he explained things to me so that I could understand the issue and what to expect for the repair. Around 30 minutes before he arrived I got a text that allowed me to track the service van. I really appreciated that. Our neighbors only use this company so we felt good but now after seeing how they work this is the only place we will use from now on. Prices also very reasonable and the charges make sense. Marvin really knows his stuff and was patient with all of my questions. Highly recommend."
