Ted Britt Chevrolet Service

"Taking your car to be serviced can be an awful experience for some. Some of the reps can be rude and argue with you over something they did wrong. I'll have to reconsider ever buying a vehicle through Ted Britt if I have to deal with that type of behavior in the service dept."

"Made an appointment for my VW oil change here since I've been taking my vehicles here for oil changes since I moved. The service website and oil change coupon states "We can handle any make of model car repair no matter how small or large the job is!" Front desk didn't believe their website actually said that, that they deal with Chevys. Front desk kept asking me why we brought our vehicle here and told us it would cost more because it isn't a Chevy, but wouldn't tell us how much, just wanted to know why we wouldn't take it somewhere else. I left because it was clear they didn't want to service my vehicle for a simple oil change and took it down the road to VA Tire and auto to accomplish the same task. I'm still in disbelief that someone would turn down oil change service (I've looked at doing the VW myself, its an easy job, was just hoping to get tires rotated as well which is standard here). 1 star for the front desk basically turning down an oil change service job after the appointment had been made and vehicle pulled into service center but bumping up to 2 stars because front desk at least illuded they didn't want to do it and they would charge more."

"Ted Britt 4 Life is a scam. I bought my car here and they offered this list of benefits for buying from Ted Britt if you continue to get serviced with them which they call Ted Britt 4 Life. Well I did, coming back for regular maintenance and some small issues that arose over the years. However I delayed getting one of the major services because it wasn't yet necessary, and they canceled my membership. The paper I signed when I bought the car says I just needed to get regular maintenance with them, it didn't specify when. However they updated their policy specifying how often which they will apparently dump you for if you delay even once. I will no longer get my vehicle serviced here, which will save me money considering they have that dealer pricing. Also I will not buy my next car here. I recommend you all don't as well."

"Came in for oil change, and paid $272 for oil change. Oil was sold at $30 per quar for 7 quarts Waited almost 4 hours. For simple oil change. Some dealers do brake jobs cheaper than this oil change. Talk about cheating customers. I am sure owner sleeps like a baby with his wallet on his chest. Don't get cheated ppl. Be careful"
