He even went over preventative maintenance items I should do on other appliances to ensure longer life. All at a very reasonable rate. I would definitely use him again should we have an appliance problem. It's hard to find someone you can trust to not rip you off and will fix what you need, but Handy Appliance does just that. "Mr. Handy is thorough, knowledgeable, attentive to detail, pleasant to deal with and cleans as he goes. He spent over two hours working on my Sub Zero and never raised his originally quoted price. After fixing the primary problem (dead control board), he then traced back and worked through all the issues that resulted from the dead control board - freezer fan frozen up, drain pan overflowing, ice cubes frozen into a block in the ice-maker. Every step of the way, he kept cleaning up the shelves, the floor, interior parts and spaces. He wouldn't let go until everything was working well. He also gave me excellent advice about maintenance.
