"My daughter has been active at Escape exactly one year this month. I waited one year to write a review because I wanted to be informed of everything and make sure my words didn’t come from emotions tied to the honeymoon phase. After taking a virtual tour of the building via their YouTube video, my then 9 year old daughter started with summer classes in 2018 with the agenda to try out for what would be her 2nd year of competition, first year at Escape. Summer classes immediately had an impact on her confidence and abilities, which were evident at auditions. From there the growth never stopped. I’m honestly not even sure if she is still the same kid sometimes. The way Lindsay and staff pushed her and developed her to the next level is incredible. Studio organization is impeccable. Communication is airtight and you never feel at a loss for dates, times, costs, or anything of that nature. From the top of the competition year I knew all the important deadlines I needed to. As a mom with a career that is important. It feels great to be at a studio that gets it right, bonds with the kids, encourages them, communicates professional, and values friendships. Most days I cannot get my daughter out of the studio. She feels empowered and simple wants to dance and bond with dance friends. The teachers want to educate. Lindsay wants to be surrounded by the dancers, pouring into them. That’s it. Drama free zone, family feel, superior training, what more could you ask for? I openly share my daughters progress because anyone can write kind words; yet videos showing her growth and her smile anytime she is in the studio can’t be forced, faked, or photoshopped. "I wish I could give this studio 0 stars. Our experience was absolutely awful. The owner is rude, abrasive and does not speak to any student or parent that is not on competition team. She allows her competition team to bully recreational students and if you speak up your child will be targeted. The recital experience was very disorganized and the children, as young as 2, are left unsupervised backstage. I regretted enrolling my daughter in this studio every single day until the recital was over."
