"Obviously everyone (parents and players) are looking for different things. My son loves this program. The coaches are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I feel this program is balanced - many are not."
"The program has been great for my son. The formula for skills building is 2nd to none. The reason i give only 3 stars however is based on the first tourney my son's (2025) team competed in this past weekend 6/15/19. I felt that the coaches didn't care whether the team won or lost. I didn't see them offering any instructions or making any adjustments. The only reason the team performed well was because of the solid skills training they get during the season. Parents felt that the coaches we acting more like cheerleaders than leaders demanding the best from their players. It's a big commitment to attend these tourneys so to go and not have a strong desire to win is deflating not only to the parents but the players as well."
"One of the best travel lacrosse and summer camps available in the tri-state region. We have been sending our son for the past 2 years and we are already signed up for this summer. Blue Star runs various camps to give the players and parents multiple options. The staff is top in the country and we send many local players from our town to their camps. The instructors have years of experience and not only teach lacrosse but life lesions and work to develop young men in all aspects of their life. They run their camps like they run their travel program in a totally professional manner. Blue Star also volunteers for various non-profit organizations which support our veterans and their coaches volunteer their time to local town lacrosse programs in the area. Their summer camp locations are carefully chosen and held at some of the best facilities in the state of New Jersey. If you are looking for a summer camp which provides great instruction in a fun learning environment Blue Star is a camp for your son. Scott Stelmach"
