"We highly recommend this great, family-friendly experience. We contacted the studio a week before our trip to Deep Creek. Lorie, the owner, was wonderful to work with. She offered us several time slots. On the day of our visit, it was an easy drive to the studio. Lorie was a wonderful host and very kind to our young (6 year old) daughter. We chose a glass tile mosaic project. Each of us selected a wooden shape and were given access to an incredible selection of colored glass tiles. We were left alone to work on our projects with some great music playing in the background. Lorie would check on our progress, offer tips, and answer any questions we had. As each one of us finished, Lorie checked our work and added grout. The final product was dried and polished before we departed. We finished with three great pieces of art (now on display in our home) and great memories from this fun, constructive activity. The studio accepts cash or credit cards. Throughout our 90+ minute stay, we were very comfortable and felt at home in Lorie's studio. We will be sure to return here again on our next visit to Deep Creek."
