Reviews
"The drinks are always expired and flat.the food is overpriced for the quality you get. Outside of the store is always flooded with drug dealers makes it a very uncomfortable environment : would recommend going elsewhere"
"Their “sausage egg and cheese” is just a hot dog with extreme amounts of grease with the egg and cheese on a roll. I bought milk here that was expired."
"Best spot for Temple University students and local community members to go to for convience food. They have different snacks to chose from, from chips, honey buns, candy, and different sizes of water ice. Their cheesesteak platters are a great deal. I usually got my cheesesteak with American cheese on a 10 inch roll, and they filled the platter up with fries. The last time I got the chance to come here was before the pandemic. The cheesesteak platter was $6. It was a great value meal, and easy on the wallet. The cheesesteak was juicy and flavorful. As I always tell people: some of the best spots for cheesesteaks in Philly are from mami & papi stores. Jay St. Food Market happens to be one of them!"
"Love this place. The deli in the back is very clean and makes good sandwiches. The store has plenty of snacks and drinks as well asa good selection of commodities. Friendly staff. Good vibes. Fair prices. Good location."
"Pops is the man! I survived on their breakfast sandwiches for the past 2 years. This spot is low key better than Richie’s and the guys running it are like family"
