"I ran in here last minute to get cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday party. They were absolutely delicious! So fresh and decorated so nicely."
"If you're a franchise fanatic, then you know this is last of rare breed. Not many are around in these days and times. But as usual, with time prices will inflate and your favorite items will be pricey. But the place is clean, tidy and bright. Employee's are customer friendly and can lead you to your mission of shopping glory."
"0/5 stars if I could. My mother went to self check out to buy three papayas with coupons on the acme app from each member of the family. She bought them separately since the phone number can only be used once. The third one didn’t went through, and because my mother doesn’t speak English, she went to another self check out machine to try again. The lady standing at the self checkout start looking at my mom suspiciously and yell at her, preventing her from buying the third papaya. So my mom return the third papaya and buy it again at the register. But this time this white lady call over her white male supervisor/co-worker and was incredibly rude, pulling my mother’s cart over and search through her stuff. She went to another supermarket earlier and brought some vegetables stuffed in Target bags since plastic bags are no longer available in stores, and the white coworker took everything out of the cart only to find vegetables not sold in Acme and the two receipts for the two papayas. At this point my mom was mad and tell them it was two coupon purchases. The white woman at the self checkout and the white male coworkers were embarrassed and have nothing to say, and didn’t even apologize during the whole ordeal. Terrible customer service, do they even have training? I guess not. Another female worker recognizes my mom, since she shopped in here all the time and talk to the rude white female worker. Again, there was never an apology. The white male worker was yelling the entire time and have no obligation or evidence to search through her stuff, even pulling her cart. Would never recommend this Acme supermarket. Also the two white workers? If I have your name I would call you out right here and now. First time having such a terrible experience at a self checkout. Would recommend their neighbor supermarket Giant instead, would rather have no coupon at a supermarket than to receive such disrespect."
"Horrible customer service. Don’t do pick up and go because they bring you out old, expired groceries after waiting outside for 20 minutes. I needed a refund its been almost 2 weeks and I still have not received it. *UPDATE* Once you write a review you can not reply if the business responds. I reached out to the store and was placed on hold 3xs. I called customer service corporate and spoke to (4) different people. All individuals told me four different things. I have been transferred from person to person. I submitted online request and nothing. They have all of my contact information. I put in numerous complaints. No one has emailed me or called me in two weeks. This incident occurred on July 27th. The manager allowed employees to leave early and no one was available for my drive and go pick up order. They refused to bring my groceries and charged my card. I was told 5-7 day for my refund. I called again on that Friday and was promised Monday. Today is Wed and I still have no money. Again, unacceptable when you are in the wrong. Two weeks and you all still have not returned the money you took from me. Use caution you are not valued as a customer."
"A great neighborhood store. As the northeast is like the United nations and there are all kinds of people who shop here there is a great feeling of being a part of the world. Good choices. Not everything I was looking for but about 90% so I give it high praise."
