"Good day, my very 1st visit and my last visit to this store. Rude staff, the staff gave me cold stares, extremely dismissive responses. I asked for hot chicken was told no abruptly as to say get out of our store-you are not welcomed. One old lady bumped me and no apology. I'm guessing I am too dark to shop in their store. I'm light but not light enough."

"Luv this market for the awesome variety of food that you can not find in your local commercial supermarkets, worldwide variety of fruits and vegetables, bread and cakes, sheep and goat cheese, and their olive counter wow, as well as their cooked foods counter, and their senior discount, and employees kindness, I've been shopping here since forever! And will continue to do so, unbelievable place, bourch soup my favorite! And pickles oh yeah!"

"I shop here somewhat frequently and most of the time have good experience. The store is usually neatly stocked and has a good variety. They bake their own bread and it is nice to get it while it is still hot. Also there is a decent selection of beer and wine. One thing I am avoiding and the reason for 3 star review is their deli department where they slice your order of cheese or meats. Some time ago I stopped by in the evening to get some cheese and the woman behind deli counter in gloves holding cleaner bottle in one hand and a rag in another asked me if she could help. I told her what cheese I want and she puts down the cleaning supplies and in the same gloves proceeds to slice my cheese, touching every piece with those same dirty gloves. I was too tired to make a scene or getting management involved, so I just took that cheese and left it on the shelve. Thinking back, I should’ve probably confronted the situation and let the management know as well. But since then, I don’t even look at their deli department."

"Great prices on produce but you really have to watch what you are buying. Some of the heavy discounts it seems are because the fruit/veggies are very near expiring. Not a reason to stop shopping here, just have to be selective."

"I love the store. It has a lot of unique items and great produce and meats, too. The salads are amazing. I just wish there were more English-speaking people there, and that the staff was a little more friendly towards Americans."
