"They did a great job for Rufus's first professional groom! He looks very handsome and clean. I let them know he hasn't been groomed before and I was unsure how he'd react to having his nails trimmed (he hates when I do it!!). They let me know they didn't need to muzzle him they just talked to & reassured him which I thought was really sweet!! Very professional, prompt scheduling and service and extremely reasonable price. Would recommend."
"My dog has high anxiety and getting his nails trimmed has been an ordeal his entire life. He gets extremely worked up, and has to be muzzled. Because of this, I've had staff at other grooming places treat my dog like he like a nuisance. That is NOT the case at paws n claws! The staff he loves my little guy and they are so caring and gentle with him. It's made a huge impact on my dog's anxiety and my own peace of mind. Also, my little one is a very picky eater, but this groomers has just started selling homemade treats and my dog absolutely loves them!"

"Great service and communication from the Paws N Claws team. Really appreciated the grooming service provided for my cat Simba. I cant express how happy i was with the service i got. Great grooming for a reasonable price."
"We had been taking our dog Gryffin here for a few months. The service was mostly good (affordable and maybe some unevenness with his cuts but he’s shaggy so not a big deal). I took him for an appointment in July and realized when we got home that he could barely keep one of his eyes open. I had been working from home that day and was with him all morning. He wasn’t having any eye issues. When I got to the shop to pick him up, the groomer asked me if he has allergies. I replied yes because he gets itchy occasionally and takes an allergy pill. I didn’t really think much of the question until I got home and realized he seemed to be in a lot of pain and couldn’t keep his eye open. I called the groomer who tried to convince me he was like that when I dropped him off (he wasn’t). We took him to the vet the next day and he had an abrasion on his cornea. He had to wear a cone and receive ointments/drops for a few weeks. We spent about $250 in vet bills, plus the cost of the grooming appointment. I get that accidents happen, but I was very disappointed that the groomer did not take ownership of the situation and even tried to lie to us and convince us Gryffin was like that when he got there. We tried to get reimbursed for the vet bills but just kept getting the run around for months. We eventually gave up. Needless to say, we won’t be going back and have found a great new groomer at PetPeople in Greentree! Response to owner comment: that’s 100% false. I was with him all day. He was fine. As we told you and as the vet said, it is highly unlikely that he did this to himself. It likely occurred during the grooming process, probably from a cloth used to wipe his face."
