"Love working for the FAA/DOT!"
"Small company here, gmc2500 pulling a dump trailer for logs all I needed is a dot number. Can't believe the amount of spam calls and emails within 8 hours of applying from third party companies. Since dot is a requirement for companies to operate commercial vehicles the least you can do is not sell our contact information to third parties. No choice whether we consent to it and now I'll be up to my neck in spam."
"We import Himalayan salt products from Pakistan. It comes in containers via sea. About 50 % of our containers have been flagged by customs recently. Each time it happens, it cost us thousands of dollars in fee and huge amount of time. These two factors are very discouraging to do business in this country. Every time customs did screening, they never found any abnormal product. If customs picks our container for extra screening, the expense should not be transferred to us. They should pay for it. We have paid this extra expense up to $4000 per container. I would like to draw attention of Secretary of Transportation"
"Roads policing laws outdated , today's laws can't dissuade anyone. Driving across America is chaotic, wreckless, agressive, dangerous, deadly & nothing is done. We're desensitized to deaths on the road. It's become a spectacle rather than a tragedy. Police cruisers make little difference. We can catch toll cheaters but we can't catch driving offenders. Technology could help, why not use it ? Better roads when unpoliced lead to more risk taking , more deaths.& poor quality of living. We fight for space rather than share it . People will do what they can get away with. DO SOMETHING"
