"Eastern Lift is a reputable company but there service charges are outrages! Technician was out last week for a total of 35 minutes because a code popped on my lift. Turned out to be brake fluid low. He put a container of brake fluid in and told me it needed a full brake job which more than likely the lift does. Total time on site 35 minutes. Get a bill from the Maple Shade NJ billing department. 5.20 for the brake fluid and a labor charge of 426.20 plus a fuel charge of 21.00 and a road service charge of 19.00 and then sales tax. $426.20 labor charge for 35 minutes to put a container of brake fluid in and tell me it needs a brake job. Your charging customers $12.17 a minute once you get on site. That's insane! I know the local locations don't do the billing but this is crazy. Not a first time customer as I bought my lift from them and paid for plenty of insane maintenance visits but this is totally unacceptable and getting out of hand! Total time on site is all recorded as well from the time technician was on site until time he left. Technicians are always nice and polite and know what there doing. I hope it your charging that much for labor there getting paid $200 a hour to justify your labor charges. Not Happy!"
"I'm very concerned about the issues going on there. I have called many times to have service, the women are great on the phones when we call and the scheduler is wonderful she is new I believe but is a pleasure speaking to. However, I have called again and again for service on different occasions but the manager there Tom, is horrible!!! He is always using profanity against employees and I can hear him cursing and yelling in the background of the phone conversation. He is very unprofessional. I have never heard an employer speak to their employees the way I have overheard him speak to them. He is also rude to his customers and very impossible to deal with. He makes promises on scheduling and never follows through. We have had it happen many times. And he demands he doesn't remember telling me he made the scheduled promise date for service. We have had a technician at our store on different occasions and would witness the tech on phone with him about an issue he encountered and could hear Tom calling him and idiot and other unmentionable names and comments. I just feel this is very unprofessional and this should be addressed."
