"They make you ring yourself out and then stand there and watch you like you're a criminal. If you are that worried about it, put some people behind the cash register. I shop here because the prices are good. The checkout process is uncomfortable and awkward and somewhat offensive. Walmart doesn't even watch people like that."
"Employee Owned grocery story. Small regional chain. Very friendly employees on the staff. The store is very clean and well maintained. Part of the business, next to the produce section, is a dedicated beer section. Parking lot has ample parking including many handicapped parking spaces and a few spaces for expecting mothers Some of the prices are higher than other stores but you can find some good deals if you look for them. They have some store made foods in the deli section including baked goods, fried chicken, potato salad, and similar items."
