"I did a lot of research and talked to some friends before deciding which artist in the area I would trust to touch up or do something more with an existing tattoo. I found Cat. I did an online consultation and was happy that she accepted me as a client. I am amazed at the work she did. She completely covered my existing phoenix with an incredibly beautiful phoenix. The shading, line work, the design - it’s more than I even asked for - she’s fantastic. Great customer service, clean shop, very thoughtful and thorough in all aspects. "I received 2 tattoos in the last month from Cat. While scheduling the appointment I made it very clear that I was looking to have the piece be symmetrical. My first piece turned out great and the shop has a very good atmosphere and Cat is very professional and accommodating. A couple weeks later I went in to get the other side done and the matching stencil has disappeared in those three weeks and I think the 2nd one she tattooed on me is smaller than the other or just the placement is just overall wrong. They are noticeably different tattoos including issues such as one side being higher and to the left, extra leaves, bad line work, and different shapes. I made a comment after the tattoo when it was done and she said something along the lines of nothing I can do now. My take away is that she is either a very inconsistent artist or was having an off day. Either way I would not go back. If I’m going to be paying $200 an hour I expect to get the quality of work that I am paying for."

"I got a memorial tattoo done by Cat and I can not express enough how helpful and amazing she was, even when I asked to add in my cat’s paw print, she changed to design to fit it. She was professional and very awesome to work with. The shop is clean and everyone I came into contact with were friendly and professional. "I couldn't have asked for a better first tattoo experience. The shop was very clean, and all around very helpful for me to navigate the world of tattooing for the first time. I was tattooed by Cat - the artwork was so beautiful and, I am very happy with my design! At first, I wanted a design that was not necessarily possible, given the size of my arm. Cat let me know, and from there we decided on a tiger tattoo. I really appreciate her patience and understanding for me not knowing what I was really doing. I had then set up the appointment and saw the artwork about a month before my appointment, and asked the receptionist a few questions too. Logan was very helpful and let me know what to expect the day of. From there, the tattoo experience was great too - there was background music with beautiful artwork around the space to look at. Cat is a great artist and is very knowledgeable and helpful. If you're just getting into the world of tattoos, this is a great place to start and all staff and artists will be very helpful from start to finish. Thanks again to everyone at Dark Horse!"
