"My provider failed miserably at scheduling a pre-approved treatment despite the emergency approval from my specialist. Two weeks later and I was still getting the run around. They blamed my insurance. After getting BFS (Nelli K & Mariam A) involved, they investigated immediately and confirmed the hospital had not even attempted to get my scheduled. Once I had that key piece of information, the hospital had an advocate contact me to finally get me scheduled for treatment along with a follow up call from my doctor to acknowledge the system failed me. Having BFS involved ensure the hospital was investigating the matter. My insurance (believe it or not) even called me to ensure I was ok. My situation is only 5-10% fatal but obviously I was concerned. BFS took the extra steps needed to get everyone's attention at the hospital and I am eternally grateful to the entire BFS team for helping me fight this battle."
