"My 2 daughters are learning so much here. More than karate. Sensei Gaddis teaches them life lessons and executive functioning skills as well. So important! They have been in the program here for about 8 months and are doing so well. Sensei keeps them so engaged and his classes are fun. He mixes humor and energy in with each lesson. There are tons of events and activities planned throughout the year too. I’m so glad we chose Gaddis Brothers for our girls’ karate classes!"

"John Gaddis has certainly found his calling in life. His passion for the martial arts is evident, and he brings that to class every day. He is very engaging and great with kids. The dojo is a little bit a victim of its own success. Class sizes are very large, and there is very little one-on-one interaction with the students in the larger classes, though Sensei Gaddis clearly tries his best. Despite this, students are often seen making mistakes that go uncorrected. The classes for youth and “little dragons” mostly focus on confidence and a loose knowledge of karate basics. Sensei is not strict on students really knowing what they are doing, and belts become something of participation trophies. This is great for children learning karate for confidence and respect, but if your focus is hardcore karate, you won’t find it here."
