Camp Bow Wow,

"On January 25th. Well checking in to see how my fur baby was doing at Camp Bow. Wow I was appalled to see what was occurring. My dog who is very mild-mannered non-aggressive and obedient had been sprayed in the face for no apparent reason. The employee continued to open the door and stand in the hallway again for no apparent reason. No dogs were coming or leaving. She then sprayed several times at any dog that moved in that direction. I immediately called and asked the person answering the phone why this was occurring. She said she was not aware of it but would go back which she did. I went directly to pick up my dog. I was angry and decided to call upon returning home. I called back to see what the explanation was of what I had witnessed. The woman I initially spoke with put the person on the phone and she explained that she had sprayed my dog by accident. She also stated my dog had done nothing wrong. She said that she had to have the hose because a dog was leaving which was not true and when I told her I had been watching the phone went silent and next thing I was talking to the woman I had spoken with initially. She explained to me their policy on spraying dogs if they became uncontrollable or aggressive and I stated that was not the case. I understand and appreciate that they have to have a way to control the dogs if they become uncontrollable. I requested the manager to call me after she had reviewed the tape of the incident which she did the next morning. The manager told me she had reviewed the tape and although my dog should not have been sprayed, she went into their policy of why they use the hose. I was not offered an apology by the person who sprayed my dog in the face nor was I offered an apology by the manager. I would have accepted the person who sprayed saying I was having a bad day. Please forgive me and all would have been well but to be lied to and not given an apology is unacceptable. When I told the manager I was not comfortable with bringing my dog there again and requested a refund of my two packages I had bought She said fine. I asked if I needed to come in for any reason. She said no and hung up. I appreciate standing up for your employees but right is right and wrong is wrong and being lied to is definitely wrong. There were far better ways the situation could have been handled. So my advice to anyone who takes their dog there is to watch the cameras. You never know what's going to occur and if you see something be prepared that you will get no apology or even a reasonable explanation of why it occurred."

"I boarded my dog here for a week and although it cost more than the normal place I usually boarded her for vacations, I felt it was well worth it. The facility is super clean. She was given a complimentary bath and had a nice big space to hang out with other dogs rather than sit in a dirty kennel all day. The staff are very friendly. I liked that I could use the app to watch the indoor play area and see my dog. They take the time to do an interview day to make sure all dogs allowed at daycare will play nice with each other. Also, there's no set time you have to pick up your dog from boarding to avoid being charged an extra day, and that's a nice perk. Most places will charge if your dog isn't picked up super early, which I've always thought was unfair. So when you compare pricing to other boarding kennels, Camp Bow Wow is really pretty reasonable. My only concern is that I never seemed to see any dogs in the outdoor play area when I looked at the camper cam. I would've liked to have seen her getting some fresh air. But overall I'm very happy I boarded my dog here."

At first he was very shy and the staff did a fantastic job at being patient with making him feel comfortable, and now he looks forward to going to daycare to see of all his friends! When I walk in we are always greeted by the most friendly staff! It's such a relief to know my pup is in good hands throughout the day :)"

"Juno loves Camp and we love it just as much! All the employees are very welcoming and attentive to us and our girl. She is always so excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot and she comes home very exhausted!!! We also enjoy being able to keep tabs on her with the cameras and the app. After a few months of sending our girl, I can say we would 100% recommended this daycare to others."
