"Nice selection, great deals on discounted candles. Friendly staff. Check it out!"
"My favorite place and my husband and boy's like it to. They like their body products for men. I love their body spray, hand soups, pretty much everything. This is only some of what I got."
"I was there before vacation to stock up. When I couldn't find the scent I wanted in a travel size, my daughter asked the manager on duty (who was training someone) and she said they had none in a travel size. Fine. Then she said very snotty "you can buy a large one and put some in a smaller bottle". No joke Sherlock! It was the way she said it, not what she said. I was provoked, so I went to the check out. When I gave her my coupon she started quizzing me relentlessly on where it came from. Because I was put out, I told her "Look. You already made me mad, I just want out of here now." She replied "Oh I am sooooo sorry." With an eye roll. I left there and haven't been back to ANY Bath and Body. Nor will I."
"I was a fan of this company until today. I even worked at a different store for 2 years before. Today I went in to exchange 6 soaps that I received as a Christmas gift and was not fond of the scents of 4 of them and already had another that I received 2 of. I took them to the register to let them know I was bringing them in for exchange prior to looking for new ones and was met with the information from 2 employees that per the updated company policy from 9/14/22, the company no longer does even item exchanges (i.e. a soap for a soap), which is really all I was looking to do. I was not trying to exchange soaps for body care (lotions, shower gels, fragrance mists, etc.). I simply wanted to exchange 6 hand soaps for 6 different scented soaps. The women pointed at each of the soaps citing 1 was $3 so I could only get another for $3 (full price is $8.50 each) and the rest were clearance, so I could only receive credit for the clearance price of each, so basically $51 worth of products for what would come out to maybe $14 (thinking $3 for 1 and the others likely 75% off). What kind if joke and rip off is that? I asked the workers what they do when other people come in wanting exchanges from Christmas gifts they got, and they told me the same thing. They almost seemed puzzled with I didn't have a receipt. These items were GIFTED to me. I was not given the receipt with the gift! Plus, the day after Christmas starts their semi annual sale every single year, so be aware anything you need to return that was gifted without a receipt or exchange is going to come up at a dirt cheap price and you're barely going to be able to get a different product in place of it. The new return policy is not customer friendly. When I worked at Bath and Body Works (which includes time within the last 5 years), they stood behind a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. My store did returns and even (meaning product for same product, not oh this is on clearance for $3 so you can only get a $3 soap in its place) exchanges all the time! Meaning you could exchange a soap for a soap, a wallflower for a wallflower, etc. or get store credit and purchase something else. Heck, 1 specific woman came into my store frequently and would return and exchange old items that were years old, used, half filled with water, etc. That was ridiculous, but I was instructed to honor the returns. I agree that those types of returns and exchanges were inappropriate but why I was not permitted to exchange this year's collection of soaps for simply other scents of $8.50 soaps is crazy. Shame on you Bath and Body Works and shame on your rude and unhelpful employees."
"Their staff is always courteous and helpful. But if you believe that Outlet means reduced prices think again! There candles are still at the regular price of $24.50....why are they at the outlet store?"
