"Arion was a great artist to work with. He made the tattooing an easy process from start to finish. Had a good conversations that made the process go faster. Will definitely be coming back with more! Thank you Arion!"
"My best friend and I got tatted here a couple days ago. It was my first tattoo (2nd for her) and we both had an amazing experience! Jason was a class-act from start to finish: from our initial booking over the phone, to "text consultations," listening to my feedback, and especially during the actual appointment, and even AFTER the appointment when I reached out to him with questions and concerns I had about aftercare. Jason was so understanding and patient with all of my feedback about the design (it was a quote with a particular lettering I had in mind); he really listened to me while putting his own artistic spin on the design. He made us very comfortable, he was friendly and professional! I was extremely nervous about the pain! But it was nothing! And a lot of that had to do with Jason's technique and the tool he used; Jason was very gentle and meticulous with the lettering. My friend and I both got quotes and she went first and I watched him do hers, and he was very detail-oriented and concerned with getting it just right. That made me feel ultra-confident going into my session. Also, Harlan was there; he's a huge name in the industry, and he even offered Jason feedback on the placement of my stencil, and I thought that was really awesome to get input from one of the Ink Masters! Even though Harlan was busy doing this incredible back piece on another client, the fact that he took the time to make sure my design was top-notch makes me feel confident in every artist at Spill The Ink. The place was small and intimate and very clean. My best friend and I basically just hung out in a back room for 4 hours and it felt like we were just chilling and talking while Jason was tattooing. For a first-timer, this experience couldn't have been better!! Can't recommend this place enough; will be going here for future tats and asking for Jason!!"
"I’ve been hesitate to post this review, but I believe it would do some good for others visiting this shop. I don’t want to base a shop’s rating solely off them, because the shop itself is great! I had a terrible experience with an artist/artists who work there, so this/these person(s) deserves the 3 stars. I was recommended Spill the Ink by tons of people! I see why! Their work is amazing; however, I felt robbed. To begin, my experience was extremely uncomfortable by the things being said. Yes, tattoo artists have a different kind of mentality, I believe. But this person was not professional. I’m not new to tattoos and my best friend has been tattooing for 40+ years. I’m used to the behavior, but this time was exceptionally difficult to sit through. I also felt ripped off. It was literally 2 stencils were put on (size of a hand) and it took 6.5 hours! Not to mention, the last stencil, the artist did sloppy work and it’s not even finished. Not to mention, the artist knew this was a remembrance piece. So the sloppy work on something so meaningful struck hard for me. I also have ink blowout, which this is the first time EVER...and I have 20+ tattoos. It’s been 10 months, so it’s ink blowout. For the amount I paid and time it took, I should’ve had a full rib piece. I would know, I have one. Now I am having to go to a different tattoo shop to have them finish this piece."
"first tattoo and i couldn't be happier. Harlan did an absolute perfect job and it blew my expectations out of the water. every artist in there i met was extremely nice and friendly they do a great job of making you feel at home with music and jokes and it was just an all around 5 star experience and i would recommend this place to anyone and i'll most definitely only go here. thank you guys so much!"
"I've been going to Amanda since she started tattooing, and you can literally see her transformation on my body. She has become an immaculate artist and I strongly suggest setting an appointment with her. Spill the Ink itself is an amazing shop that is kept very clean and has a positive environment. All of the artists are talented in their unique ways, and friendly too. The overall energy is always positive. As a regular client I guarantee it would be in anyone's best interest to give Amanda and Spill the Ink heavy consideration."
