"Transmission Tattoo is absolutely awesome. I have several tattoos by Andy and love each of them… also get lots of compliments on his work from others. Not only are the designs right, but Andy really understands how to place art so it moves with you. The shop experience is also top notch. Good vibe, nice conversation (but if you don’t feel chatty, the silence isn’t uncomfortable), good music and beautiful interior! The walls are a works of art. Of all the tattoo shops I've visited, Transmission is among the most comfortable and welcoming (which is super important to me as a she/her). Another cool thing about this spot is they host visiting artists on the regular - guest artists come from all over the the world to set up here for a few days at a time. Glad to have this shop in Baltimore!"

"Best designs here. Great shop. Andy is super welcoming and friendly. Stopped in as a walk-in to check the shop out about 30 mins before their posted closing time. I was drawn toward a super excellent flash design and asked Andy if he was down to tattoo it that night. He enthusiastically was. Andy was totally cool and open to staying a little later to tattoo me. No rush, no issues. Just great work and conversation. Also, only the best designs here."

Not only does Andy produce quality work in a truly unique style, he is just an awesome dude who goes above and beyond to make sure he fulfills your vision.
