"A group of 4 of us went to get matching tattoos and Spoon and Tommy took care of us. It was my first time at this shop, but I'm no stranger to tattoos. I can say from experience, that this was the most comfortable I've ever felt at a shop. They were laid back, yet fun and down to earth. The shop itself was cozy and clean. And both Spoon and Tommy gave such great attention to detail. We had small, scripted tattoos and their linework is ON POINT! Their dynamic with each other was also quite amusing. "Met Denny at Bullets Ink. Years later went back and he wasn’t there. Wouldn’t say where he went. Saw a tattoo on a girl I liked and she mentioned Tommy. "I got my Tat today from Denny. I had to wait about a month and a half for the tat, due to COVID, but it was so worth the wait. I came in to make the appointment, with a picture of what I wanted. However, I wanted the artists own spin on things. Denny asked me some questions regarding how I envisioned it, but I expressed that I also liked the artist to put their own unique vision to it. I came in and Denny already had it drawn up, and it was above and beyond what I wanted and that was only on paper. When the tat was done, I was absolutely 100% in love with my new ink. By far, it's my best tat to date, and I have quite a few. I am so delighted by the way that it looked. It's so much better than the original pic that I fell in love with. Denny was absolutely patient with me (I have joint issues and sitting in one spot too long bothers me, so I'd have to shift around quite a bit to get comfortable), professional, clean, he and Tommy both are taking the COVID precautions very seriously, and the studio is very clean, in fact, it's pristine. Their prices are amazing, especially for the art that I got in return. I'll definitely be returning for all my tats in the future. If you want GREAT ink, for more than a fair price, from artists who absolutely aren't arrogant and are very personable, definitely go to Dark Tide. You won't be disappointed."
