"If you are just coming in for a drink from the cooler and a snack on the shelves you might be about to get in and out in about 15-20min cause of checkout, you order food from the kitchen be prepared to wait about 45min no matter what time of the day. Sad to say that you are able to watch 3-4 people in the "kitchen" work on 1 order at a time, its like they all need to hold hands while watching an order of fries or cheese stix for someone. Very smart move putting a sheetz at this location...... sad that you have incompetent people working here. Also now have to add this, so glad i spend extra money on a very small amount of sauce to find out that sour cream is warm and watery.....ya very pissed and definitely not gonna eat that, not lookin to get stomach issues from that."
"Took 50 minutes for a 1 pretzel... and they did nothing about it. Seen people walk in and walk out and would order huge meals so ya that was pretty frustrating. The manager with brown hair who is always there at night said they were frozen and that's why it took so long...all food is frozen honey u gotta cook it to unthaw it make it make sense :)"
"Used to like this one a lot, it’s right by my job so it’s convenient. However the wait time for food has gotten too much for me. I understand on a busy Saturday night. But even during the week when there aren’t many people there, the wait times are just as long. It seems like it might be a staffing issue and that they are understaffed so the workers who are there are overworked and unable to work quickly. Hopefully they’re able to get some more folks in, soon. For now it’s the Wendy’s across the street for me."
"Moldy oranges and other produce for sale. My girlfriend didn’t think she’d have to worry about eating mold when stopping at her local Sheetz, but clearly that’s not the case. Health Department should be involved. Inexcusable."
"Feb 2022 Update Opening problems have been resolved and this operation is now working smoothly. Therefore, I upgraded my review to a four star. I tried the Cheesy Tater Bacon Bombs and was disappointed as they were basically smooshed and fried tater tots that looked like Mozzarella sticks, but had very little bacon flavor - certainly NOT a bomb... That's why I did not go up to a five star rating. See attached photos. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This store opened less than a week ago and they are clearly going through start-up problems. While the location is gorgeous and squeaky clean, all the employees appear to be new and still learning how to use the equipment and the processes. The layout of this Sheetz's interior is also different than any other one I visited. It took me a bit to realize that the food counter is off to the left of the store. The coffee counter was in the center, and the convenience store was the main part on the right with the cash registers. The touch screen kiosks where you order you food are between the coffee and food counters, but closer to the coffee area so you are kind of drawn to wait there, which is confusing. In any case, the sequence is still the same, you use the kiosk to put in your order, pay at the cash register and wait. I noticed that every employee at the cash registers appeared to be new as they were constantly asking one another how to enter this or that information in to their registers... this resulted in a bit of a delay in paying. Not a big delay, but certainly noticeable... Then, I went and waited (by the coffee counter, naturally, since that was where the ordering kiosks were!), until I realized that the two employees there were only making drinks. Hmm.... Looking around I saw that, off to my left, was a food counter... So, I mosied on there and watched as three employees were working the on making the various orders. There were two people in front of me. I waited for 10 minutes for their three sandwiches and sides to be made. This is slow -- very slow -- for a Sheetz. The problem appeared to be that the employees involved were not sure where all the materials needed where and were constantly searching for stuff. One of them was constantly running to the back of the store and coming back with this or that item, only to repeat the process five seconds later, when she realized that she needed one other item. Finally, I got my sandwich and went outside to eat it. As you can see from the attached picture, they managed to overtoast it. The interior was charred much more heavily. This is a Sheetz. I really like the chain and what they offer. This location is probably just suffering from startup problems, but I would stay away from it for a month or two to let them work out the kinks. I certainly will."
