"Would give it 0 stars if I could. Horribly rude and disrespectful owner Pam! Knew someone attempting to start working there and Pam the owner degraded her for forgetting her street name (we call it chicora rd but she wanted it to be called route 69). When my friend was talking to another employee and they asked where she live Pam rudely said “don’t ask her where she lives she doesn’t know”. Was also informed that they’d yell at the dogs to shut up; because dogs aren’t allowed to be dogs and bark. I don’t know about you but if you’re going to be rude and disrespectful to a person trying to help you out who knows what happens to those animals when the owners aren’t there, a lot of dogs probably have left with anxiety from constantly being yelled at. Pam is to be an ADULT who helps lead others not someone who intimidates young adults to make herself feel better. I’m absolutely appalled by her behavior to my friend who is very shy and wouldn’t hurt a fly so this really hurt her as well. This was her first attempt at a job and Pam ruined it by being an arrogant and horrible person."

"Pan and staff are wonderful. Whether you're boarding your dogs or having them groomed, you can't find a more caring or safe place for them to be. Barnyard Kennel is absolutely fantastic."

"They are really great. Iv tried a bunch of other places in the Butler area including Petco and they have been the best so far. Even though they are busy they listen to what you want done on your dog. Iv even shown pictures of a style and they nailed it. Even without pictures for reference they understand how a breed should look. My Bichon was never cut right. Everyone always cute her like a poodle instead of a Bichon cut. Even though she had some mats they didn't shave her almost bald like everyone else would. They still managed to make her look like her breed and beautiful. They are also priced pretty fairly in my opinion. Compared to other places like Petco. Petco charged me $70 some just to do my pom and he looked exactly the same when he came back they just got his undercoat out. Went here and they did that and much more of a cut for $40 something.Once I got the date wrong and was not scheduled that day but they took my dog anyway. Even though they were busy. Quality work and good prices. Would highly recommend."

They are so good and caring and it's very evident they enjoy what they do hosting and taking care of our family pets. I highly recommend Barnyard Kennels. We think of it as a doggie vacation and our collies have always came out smelling and looking spectacular, so shiny and white!"

"Our lab Zoe was at Barnyard Kennels for 8 days. She is a timid dog so I was worried. I called in and check on her frequently and staff was very reassuring with the information they provided. Great place to take your dog! We will definitely be using them again!"
