"Stayed end of December. Then again 2nd week in January 2024. These cabins are adorable. This is a great alternative to a hotel. Back up to your cabin, unload your stuff, food and done. It's like you are home but in a wooded, quiet group of cabins. Cabins are fully equipped. If you are looking for party? this is not for you. This is a wholesome couple or family time place to hang out. When we check in, it's like we are checking in with family. Super great people running this place. And close to everything you could possibly want or need. I highly recommend as a place to reconnect with your family and friends."
"Beautiful and serene location! Cabin was clean and cozy. Excellent customer service. There was a peaceful stream behind the site - great place for wildlife observers and nature lovers. Super convenient to Six Flags!"
"My husband, myself and two sons and their wives (total of 6 adults) and two dogs stayed here for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. I read some of the hateful reviews and for clarification, I reached out to their office through email. The owner responded and answered my questions even if it was almost 10 pm. We felt good that they are strict with the rules and policies as it will be for our good. All you need is to comply. Very easy and you'll have a great time. Overall the place is awesome! We are all adults and we had a great time. We enjoyed our first night by grilling steaks and after dinner, we gathered around the fire pit and made s’mores. We made burgers for lunch, we went swimming at the pool. My sons went somewhere else while my husband and I stayed to just relax with the dogs. My son marinated some pork chops and grilled them for our dinner. We gathered at the fire pit after dinner again on the second night and had some fun. The kitchen is fully equipped and the cabin was really cute and comfy. I can imagine myself there in the winter just watching the snow falling or on rainy days listening to the relaxing sound of the rain. It was our first time there and we’ve made wonderful memories. We’re planning to go back for another relaxation. Thanks to Artie and Sara. They were very helpful and spent time to answer and explain things. If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind whether with your spouse, family, friends, or just yourself, CSWLRR is open all year round so plan your next getaway."
"This is my 3rd year and feel likes a second home. Fits my needs to visit family and friends in New Jersey its smack in the middle. Art (owner) is very courteous and friendly. Sara and her husband work very hard maintaining the inside and outside of the campground. Rules are important for the safety and success of the campsite. See you next year."
"We stayed here mostly to be close to six flags. As someone who has camped for over 30 years in tents, RV’s and cabins I was familiar with what to expect. I read the previous reviews and wasn’t sure what to expect. We were very happy with our stay. The cabin was clean and spacious for the three of us, also had everything we needed. They give you a list to go through and report anything that’s broken and we didn’t have anything broken. It’s a quiet campground, no late night parties or loud guest. The pool looked nice but never got a chance to use it due to the weather. The staff were very nice and helpful. We will stay again in the future without hesitation!!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!"
