"On 1/22/24, i called the front desk to make sure they didn't give out guests names or room #'s. Domestic situation. Kathy promised they didn't. Gave me a whole speech about policy. Not 15 mins later, i hear banging & yelling at my door. Not only did they verify we were there, but SHOWED them to the room! And the housekeeping man (that always wears a hat), was about to let them in my room!! If i didn't mention the police, it would've happened. I then called front desk to have them removed. Kathy said.."they drove from Delaware to see you, JUST OPEN THE DOOR"! Kathy didn't know these people. She just accepted their lies and exposed me and my child to them! If you care about your privacy or safety, AT ALL...DO NOT STAY AT THE BORDENTOWN LOCATION!!! I've been to different countries, states and cities and i have NEVER experienced such professionalism!!!"
"Showed two rooms; both smelled strongly of smoke. They said that they would initiate a refund, so I am keeping this at one star until the refund is issued. The person who helped at the front desk was kind but what matters is if we get our refund. Thanks."
"Pleasantly surprised. This motel is very clean. If you can look past some minor details and be ok with some outdated room accessories this is the place to stay. I've stay locally at several economy places. This one takes the cake IMO. I witness terminex on-site (a bonus NOT A SINGLE BUG IN SITE) and landscapers. Staff is so friendly. Good beds, good water pressure, could use a pillow and bedding upgrade, but guess what I saw a shipment just come in! Bathrooms are clean..I rather have a clean and dated shower then dirty and modern. Housekeeping does an amazing job here. Very happy with my stay, the owner definitely invests money into this property. Nice to see. Will be back!"
"Please do not come here ever. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that will not compromise your safety & comfort. The place is so sketchy and the type of people in the hotel are not people you want to spend the night with. Most are junkies who live in this “hotel”. The name itself is false advertisement because this is a motel & absolutely not a hotel. The hallways and rooms are dirty and smelled like smoke despite the no smoking policy. The floors & walls look as if they were never cleaned & the immediate whiff you get as you enter the doors is a red flag telling you you should not be in this place. I cannot even describe the unsafe feeling i felt here. The doors to the rooms had a gap at the bottom where you could see the shadow as people walked by that never failed to startle me. The room was outdated with uncomfortable popcorn ceilings & walls and the bathroom had dirt in the caulk and a gap between the ceiling and shower wall. The beds had cigarette burns through them & the couches looked dirty. If something seems too good to be true trust it. The cheap price of the room isn’t worth compromising your safety & comfort."
"This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at, if you can even call it a hotel. Me and my family had come here because we had a two day tournament and we needed a place to stay next to the fields. We didn’t have a bunch of time to book so we chose here. When we first got here we were confused if this was even the correct place. It is NOT a hotel, it’s a motel. It took a really long time to check in and when we found our rooms we were happy. It seemed amazing. Two couches that could turn into beds and a king sized bed. That was until we really inspected it and found cigarette burns in the sheets and the bathroom sink looked like somebody had thrown up in it. The guests at this hotel are terrifying. They are what you would call “whites trash” and look like zombies. As I was walking by, I saw somebody on the steps talking to themselves. Throughout random times in the night you would hear people walking down the halls and knocking and frequently. You could feel the springs through the mattresses and the bathroom door doesn’t even close completely. I have to spend one more night here and I am terrified of what could possibly happen. Do NOT recommend, and if I could rate this place zero stars, I would."
