"I had my bridal shower here on January 14th, 2024 and it was amazing! Kudos to Roger, Carly, and the entire team who went above and Beyond servicing our group of 50 women. The ambiance was wonderful, food and cake excellent, and overall so cozy and the best place I could have had this event! Thank you all."
"Title: Mixed Experience at the Hotel My fiancé and I recently had an unexpected stay at this hotel due to a booking error. While the overall stay had its merits, I feel compelled to share an aspect that left a less-than-ideal first impression. During check-in, I made a light-hearted comment about my own booking mistake, to which Maria, the young receptionist, responded with a joke that hinted at gender stereotypes (never leve the planning to a man). We laughed it off in the moment, but it struck us as somewhat rude and not in line with the professionalism one expects in a hotel setting. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding or an attempt at humor, but as a younger couple, we would have appreciated a higher level of professionalism. It's crucial for hospitality staff to maintain a welcoming and respectful environment for all guests. Despite this initial hiccup, the rest of our stay was satisfactory, and the hotel itself had its positive aspects. However, it might be worthwhile for the management to emphasize the importance of courteous interactions to ensure a consistently positive experience for all guests."
"We had our wedding here on October 27th 2023. The room was nice and the location was great. I was very disappointed in the service on our wedding day. I felt that details were neglected and communication was terrible. We were assigned two people for the day of the wedding. The first coordinator we had went completely unreachable after the ceremony. He told us he would meet us after with drinks and cocktail hour food. He met us gave us champagne and completely disappeared for 45 mins. This was extremely frustrating as neither of us had eaten. We went to cocktail hour and ended up missing all the food and weren't able to eat until dinner which wasn't until 930 at night. The first coordinator reappeared for introductions and then immediately went missing again, only to reappear and introduce the coordinator for the remainder of the night. It finally came time to cut the cake. Which proceeded with the second coordinator dragging the cake table over to the sweetheart table, almosting knocking over the cake. If it were not for my dad getting hold of the cake it would have been on the ground. Not only did she almost drop the cake but she then proceeded to yank on the floral arch almost knocking it over and then pushed the sweetheart table, knocking into all the floral arrangements in front of the table. In addition, the bartender was completely unaware of how to make a simple negroni despite the venue being made aware of the signature cocktail ahead of time. We were overcharged for bottles of campari in which we were informed we could keep the remainder that weren't used and they went missing. The next morning we went to go get our cake topper from the front desk. The staff at the front desk looked completely clueless and had no idea what i was talking about. Finally, someone was able to find after searching several areas. It felt as if there was no communication among the staff. I had brought my concerns to the event coordinator, who reported they would follow up. No concerns were addressed by the coordinator or the Inn which was a great disappointment."
"Stayed here for a wedding which was also held in the event rooms. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere of a building around since colonial times was great. The hotel itself was clean and modern, with a really cool view from the top floor"
