"DO NOT SHOP AT SOULTEE FASHION!! Owner is racist, nasty and assumes people of color don't have money. Won't allow customers to try on dresses and constantly haggles about price!! You can only try on a dress if you're going to buy today!!! Worst customer service ever!! St. Charles needs to kick them out of the mall. Plus, they couldn't even open on time, which is tacky and unprofessional. I would Gove them a -10 if I could."

"I was looking for a dress for an event and wanted to shop in my community. When I walk into the store, an old, crusty man ignores me. I continued to walk through the store and see what they had. The older lady did greet me and asked if I needed help. I found a dress I liked and asked to try it on. He asked if I wanted to buy and I told him I needed to try it on to decide if I wanted to buy it. He proceeded to repeat, “no buy, no try on.” Where in the world do you shop for a $400 plus dress and cannot try it on? I don’t know how this business is still open, treating consumers in this matter. Please do not shop here to show that he cannot disrespectfully treat community members. I wish I had read the other reviews before entering. I would have never even entered that establishment!"

"I took my daughter here to look for prom dresses. The owner was so pushy and rude. He acted like we couldn't look around on our own and followed us around the entire store and kept showing us the dresses that he wanted us to see, most of which were not what my daughter was looking for. When we finally found a few she did like, he was upset that she wanted to try them on. He wanted us to commit to definitely buying a dress if he allowed us in the fitting room. The entire time we were in the fitting room, him and his wife were standing right beside the door and kept trying to open the door while my daughter was changing. I find it totally upsetting that a man thought it was ok to be anywhere near the dressing room when there were women undressed in the area. It was completely unprofessional and it made me and my daughter uncomfortable. Needless to say, we did not and will not be spending any money in this store."
