Charity's Closet/First Picks is a clothing store located in Savage, Maryland, United States. Our shops are open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday from 11am to 6pm. We also accept donation drop-offs on Saturdays from 11am to 6pm.
At Charity's Closet/First Picks, we aim to enhance our clients' appearance so that their first impression is positive and professional. As self-esteem increases, our clients radiate professionalism and confidence, preparing them to gain employment, build a career, and improve their quality of life.
Our unique shops exist to support SIS's mission, with donors being our shoppers and shoppers being our donors. We offer a wide range of new and gently used clothing for everyone, from work-out clothes to Oscar-worthy ball gowns. Our 2 FOR TUESDAY promotion at Charity's Closet offers two free items on Tuesdays.
We accept clothing, in-kind, and monetary donations to continue supporting our mission. Charity's Closet/First Picks aims to help individuals get suited on the outside and gain confidence on the inside. "If you're looking for designer, chic apparel for less, then drop on by and shop. Many shops affiliated with this one. A bridal shop opened with gowns galore?! I drop in and find unique clothes, shoes, accessories so affordable that I had to have it! Try it and see. Closed Mondays. Plenty of parking too!"
"My favorite place to shop for casual and professional clothing! Can’t beat all the items being 5 bucks with the added get one item free with buying four items! I always feel special shopping here, from the bright space with such thoughtfulness and effort to maintain it to the helpful volunteers. Also the people you meet here while shopping, makes the experience worthwhile. I go every other week or once a month and I always find something! I tell people at work, strangers and friends to go here. So far everyone that has went enjoyed it! Here’s some items I picked up! 90% of my closet is from here. :)"
