"I had been pretty disappointed by Charity's Closet for the last couple years, it seemed like all the decent clothing got sent to First Picks and marked up. Recently I went in for the first time in over a year and was pleasantly surprised that the quality of merchandise was significantly improved compared to prior visits, and left with several items. I briefly stopped in First Picks as well, which had a good selection, although I still find their pricing to be pretty inconsistent. Sometimes brands like J. Crew and Banana Republic are marked up to prices almost as much as higher end designers. Overall definitely recommend checking them both out!"

"Visited "Charity's First Picks" (a "Success in Style" location) in Historic Savage Mill, and loved their curated selection! This is a great place to visit and find your next "gem." *Lots* of designer labels & name brand clothing (Burberry, Coach, St. John's, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers), a great handbag selections, nice rack of men's clothing, and fun shoes & accessories. They also have a boutique wedding storefront, with *amazing* opportunities for a discerning bride. A great reason to go shopping is that they're a non-profit --they sort their donations and use the first round of "business professional" attire to outfit job seekers-- so your purchase goes towards a great cause! AND if you're closet-cleaning, you can donate (drop-off location is 24/7 for that Marie Kondo closet purge) and they'll provide you with a receipt for a tax deductions. Stop by!"

"This is the best place to go shopping for woman! Everything is $5 and there are frequent sales or BOGOs on top of that. Section is limited but everything they have in stock is nice. Some days I'll go and find an entire pile of clothes and accessories to buy, and other days I'll walk out with only three or four items. On top of it all, it's a very worthy charity."
