"I ordered earrings 7/26 for my wedding on 8/27. On 8/15 I realized I had not gotten an email with shipping. After logging on, my order was still waiting to be fulfilled. I reached out and they told me it was out of stock. Had I not reached out, I would have been waiting for earrings that weren’t coming. An email letting me know would have been nice."
"I can not say enough about Bella Mera Bridal! I was searching for a specific veil for my daughter and I reached out to them. I received an immediate reply from Jennifer who went above and beyond in every way. She found the veil and assured me it would be received within 4 weeks. Well it was received in less than 2! With careful packaging and a protective bag for hanging. Let me also mention the price was amazing! After I received the veil Jennifer reached out to make sure everything was satisfactory. Where do you find that kind of customer service?! I highly recommend Bella Mera if there is a wedding in your future!"
"Words can not even express how grateful I was to find Bella Mera Bridal/Jennifer. Long story short, my daughter is getting married next weekend, we have been trying to find her veil. We only had a designer name and a picture of it from when she tried it on. We thought it was one model#. So I reached out to Bella Mera and I was lucky enough to get the most attentive and caring person on the other end of my texts to them, Jennifer. After a ton of messages for 2 days and her helping right up until she was leaving work, sending pictures back and forth, Jennifer was able to find the exact veil we were looking for. Took care of calling the designer and getting it drop shipped to me in time. We live in New Jersey and we didn’t even get her wedding dress from there. If they were that great about getting a sale for a veil and going way above and beyond, I couldn’t imagine how awesome they would be to purchase a dress from. Jennifer you rock! This place was amazing!"
"*UPDATE* I thank Bella Mera for their reply to my review as it further explains my frustration. They say "last year" in a condescending manner meaning to imply this is an old issue. Yes, we ordered the dress in July. Yes, we waited until January to have it altered because anyone that has been in a wedding knows you don't get a bridesmaid dress altered immediately. The female body changes a lot, especially with the seasons and we want the best fit. Not to mention the fact that my sister had recently had a baby and wasn't sure how her body would change between ordering the dress and my wedding in February. Additionally, my concerns are not with their lack of response. They always replied to emails and my phone call promptly. My concern is their complete disregard for service. We are not asking for a refund of the dress. We are not asking for a new dress. We are simply asking for $30 reimbursement for the cost of replacing a faulty zipper. My secondary concern is that they lied to me! They sent an email from "Kevin" and no last name with the title of "Owner"but when transferred to his voicemail it said Kevin was the customer service manager. Also, in the email it stated that Kevin would be handling this matter personally but when I left a message for Kevin I received a call back from a different representative that was calling on behalf of her manager Jennifer. She had taken notes from our conversation and was going to call me back but I have heard nothing back. Hence this post. Lastly, they are dismissive to me as a bride. Again, anyone that has been a bride knows that even though my name was not on the order, I AM THE CUSTOMER! Every one of my bridesmaid is buying a dress because of me! They wouldn't even being doing business with your company if it weren't for me. It is clear from this and all of my exchanges that you are not interested in doing what is right. But at least future brides will know! *ORIGINAL REVIEW* Bella Mera Bridal Boutique has the absolute worst customer service I have received during my wedding planing process. During our time working with the boutique we have experienced several issues. None of them big enough to get worked up about on their own but compund by their most recent disregard for service is just the last straw. I am getting married in 4 weeks. In July, my Matron of Honor ordered her dress from Bell Mera. August 6th we ordered a color swatch. They told us it would deliver in 3-4 weeks. By September 10th we had not heard anything so we followed up and were told they still had not received it from the designer. so it ended up being 6 weeks before receiving the swatch. Same thing happened with the dress itself. According to confirmations her dress was to be shipped by November 7 but did not ship until November 13. Again, neither of these issues by themselves are anything to get that worked up over. However, on Saturday, my MOH and I took her dress in to get alterations done. After zipping her up i noticed that the entire thing had split! Admittedly, I am grateful that it happened at the alterations store rather than as we were getting ready to leave the house on the wedding day. But the cost to replace the zipper is $30! She contacted Bella Mera to seek reimbursement for the cost of the zipper and they are unwilling to provide any reimbursement or compensation. They keep saying that she has had the dress for too long. Any damage would have had to been reported within 10 days of receiving the item. Funny how we are strictly held to their policies but they don't hold themselves to the time frames they told us.What's even worse is that we received an email from the "owner" saying that no one else will be following up with her because he handling this personally. But when I called to discuss this with him I was transferred to his voicemail which states he is the Customer Service Manager. NOT THE OWNER! I do not believe what we are asking for is unreasonable and I am so disappointed with the way this has been handled. As if planning a wedding isn't stressful enough..."
