"They did not show up after 2 calls. Third call asked if i needed accessible van, which was arranged with original reservation. Over An hour after set time, still waiting. Glad I didn't pay ahead. Communicating by phone is iffy."

"I have been using Orange Taxi for years now to take me to the Metro for out of town trips, and they've *always* shown up early for a reservation, unlike some of the bigger names. I only call them when we travel now, and I no longer worry about making our train or plane. UPDATE: I called today, and the service was horrible. After giving my name twice, my address twice, and having to remind the person on the phone what I was asking for, I gave up. Their website is no longer up, so I suspect the phone number has been purchased by some middlemen scammers who farm jobs out to the cheapest person on TaskRabbit or something similar. I ran into something similar with "Olney Carpet Cleaning", which is definitely NOT a real business."

"My elder mom (80 years old)used this cab company to get to one of her medical appointments. She requested a round trip when she made the appointment The driver called and said he was 15mins away which wasnt true. Gladly she wasnt late for her appointment. The cab driver said he would returned for her trip back home. She called when her appointment was done, he told her that he wasn't coming back after calling him 6 times. Even after she gave a return tip. She called the company and told the receptionist what happened. She waited for over 1 hr for the next cab to come. I'm not happy at all!"

"I've used them for years. They're great. They don't deserve the 2.2 rating they have now. The drivers are very professional and courteous. They always arrive early. They communicate very well over the phone when booking pickup times. I don't have a single complaint. I haven't experienced anything like what the other reviews say. I've probably relied on them at least 2 dozen times now to get me to the airport."

"I called Orange Taxi and arranged a pickup, a week before an early-departure trip. I called them the day before departure, to verify the pickup, and they had no record of the reservation. OK, make a reservation. I called again that evening to verify, and again they had no record of the reservation in their system. The taxi did show up the next morning, and the $50 (plus tip) trip was OK, but my experience reflects real operational problems with this business. Next time, I'll use my new Uber app."
