"This was an amazing store for anyone interested in historical fashion! Lots of the items are pricey, which is to be expected for antique and handmade fashion, but many of the accessories and trinkets were affordable. My favorite part was the fact that I was allowed to try on the items, and the store clerk even helped me pick out accessories to go with the set I tried on."

"It is hard for a specialty shop to have everything for everyone, so it may be hit or miss if you find what you want. Being a specialty shop, it can also be a bit pricey. My most recent visit, I couldn't find the skirt in the type of fabric I wanted, nor could I find mourning attire that fit. The staff was able to find a black blouse and black skirt that worked. The hats I liked were out of my price range, but she found a basic black bonnet to which I will add black lace and possibly some other black decor."

"Love this shop! They installed a liner inside my Federal field jacket and the turnaround time, quality, and communication was perfect. It's a shop that just feels comfortable / takes you right back to the 19th century as soon as you walk in. The folks there are passionate about their work and it shows.
