"This place was scary.. the door to the room was so flimsy I had to put a chair under the door knob in hopes to keep a potential person out. I felt unsafe for starters. The room was dated, the floors were soft like they were old and would give in even though they had new flooring. My room had a hole in the floor by the bathroom and I was worried a mouse might get in. Towels and sheets were thread bare. If it wasn't so late I would have left. The young man at check in was nice. Advice pick another place."

"10/10 location walking distance to trails and restaurants. Family owned and very friendly service. Huge property that is quite peaceful. old inside but clean and good shower power! Nice new smart tv. Good value for a touristy location"

"I don't mind staying at older, dated motels or hotels as long as they're clean. This one was not - the toilet was not cleaned at all and the shower still had hair on the walls from the previous occupants. The shower curtain was dank and ripped - a cheap thing to replace. I say all this because we arrived about 30 minutes prior to our 3PM check-in time. The guy at the front desk asked us if we would come back around 3:30 (he also said 4:30 at one point) so that he could make sure our room was clean, and told us he'd call when it was ready. We said sure and went to go eat. Around 4:45 PM, I had to call him and ask if the room was ready. He said it was, no apology for not calling or being ready on time. And then the place was so clearly not clean. After the dirty bathroom, it was hard to see anything good about the place. TLDR: dirty, not worth the price"

"Location is great: Right near the highway and you can walk to a few restaurants and a bakery which was a fun way to enjoy the evening. The guy at the front desk works very hard to make sure all feel accommodated. The pool was great and so was the hot tub. Our room was fine, clean and big enough for what we needed and I think very fair for the price. The have little fire pits too that if you pay a fee you can use unlimited wood for the evening. There are some run down buildings on the property but it was fun to walk around and look at them. I’d stay here again."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Appliances worked well. Wifi worked well too. The staff - John in particular - were fantastic. Very understanding and accommodating. Very helpful. We loved our stay here, and if we are ever in this area again we'll definitely be back!"
