"Tell the guy answering the phone to be respectful to the callers. I called Langley Park office to enquire about 1120 filing and if I could get an estimate. His response, "we don't take new clients because very few days are left". Fair enough but here's where things went wrong when I said, "you need to stop spending money on advertising in "India this week, why are you wasting money?" and his response was less professional, "we advertise all the time but doesn't mean we'll give an estimate on the phone". Now this is less professional response, he could've simply said, "we'll need to assess before providing estimate". Granted you are short on time because of the upcoming deadlines but customer service is equally important for non-customers of yours."

"My mother is foreign meaning she knows little to no English. She has been coming to them for over 10 years. I’ve accompanied my mom for the past 3 years and I have to say I am not impressed. They charged her $50 for the first time I came with her, then the next year they charged $70, I told her we are not coming back but my mom keeps insisting that they’re good people and they do a good job. Today (2018) when I went with her not only did they charge her $160 but they pretty much wasted our time. We stayed there for 3.5 hours. We made an appt at 2pm when we came in we told one of them that we had an appt, he made us wait for 30 mins... when we were called back one of his employees kept going back and fourth to other people, because I needed to translate to my mom, he didn’t really pay attention to her, he made me look for a 1098t for 2 hours in which he didn’t even use!!! They don’t accept card which I think is ridiculous, so my mom pays cash. Afterwards he then comments talking about “you had to pay the government I made it so you can get money back and you have to consider the time I put into it” I’m gonna have my mother redo her taxes because that just sounds sketchy as hell and very unprofessional. These people obviously take advantage of immigrants who don’t know English and can’t defend themselves. Needless to say we are not coming back. These people should be ashamed of themselves."
